My top 6 CMF figures this year have to be the Green Dragon in 1st, then in order, the Night Protector, Kermit the frog, Knight of the yellow castle, Forest Elf, & then lastly the Bird Watcher because of the Toucan piece.

Kermit should’ve been number 1 and Animal should’ve been number 2. Both are perfect representations of those two muppets and are super accurate to how the look. As for minifigs go, I’d say due to their specially moulded heads alone should’ve been enough to put them in those places respectively. The attention to detail and the respect to accurately represent them in minifig form is there. Also Kermit plays the banjo, which I’m pretty sure is a new mould. The design team really did both of them justice, especially Animal. Idk what the issue with his head is, but it’s honestly the best thing that I’ve seen for a cmf since the Simpsons line. Also the E word is a slur against the Inuit.

If I were to make this list, I'd bump it up to 12 minifies and then just rank the Muppets lol. That's, in my opinion, the best line they've ever done, and idk how they can top it (unless they make a Muppet wave 2).

I love the Snow Guardian also. I agree that he makes it seem almost like we could get a whole new faction or theme from Lego including figures like this. I also loved the Moon Warrior figure, and I actually thought that with the Moon warrior and the Snow Guardian from the same series, that Lego could make a whole new theme of these two factions battling against each other. The Moon warriors vs. the Snow Guardians. It could create a whole line of fortresses (maybe a combination of castle blended with space) and true to Lego, you get to decide who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. It's left to your imagination. I think there are so many possibilities with this.

The Moon Warrior is one of my favorites for 2022 (shame she didn't crack his top 10). I would love to see them release a Sun Warrior in a future CMF, maybe with an orange or yellow sword and shield.

Something you forgot to mention in no. 8 is that the girl actually has 2 different coloured eyes with one being shiny. I would have personally put the Yellow Knight from series 23 in here considering its a direct callback to the Yellow Castle from 1978, the sheild was reused for the Lion Knights Castle set and this character is great for army building and will perfectly go alongside the Bard from series 22.

Why do mini figure necks have a little bit of black marking on the neck/throat area under the heads?

The black mark is there so the assembly machines know which is the front side of mini figs.

Not really into collecting legos myself, but I love your videos. It's really cool to see what lego puts out every year. :) As a note, in your number one entry, you used a word that's actually a derogatory term used to refer to the Inuit people. It's one of those things that most people don't realize since pop culture made it just seem like the word for people living in colder climates, so I know you didn't mean it that way. Not trying to start drama or anything, just felt like it's something to let you know.

The snow guardian is perfect for a new army not to mention for the head you can change it to basically any head and it will fit with the character! Just think of all the stop motions and mocs that can be used with the mini figure maybe a entire village of these guys? Maybe a entire kingdom based in a snowy tundra the choices are endless for the Snow Guardian!

I almost fully agree with this list, but I was hoping the Moon Warrior or the Knight would have made the cut. The snowman is okay, but I would not have put it in the top 10.
