You guys inspire me! I've never owned a diesel truck, never really got into them until you guys came along. My son wants daddy to get a diesel (as do i) but I just can't afford one and here in Rhode Island all the ones that go up for sale are either beat or way WAY out of my price range. But I promised my boy that some day we'll have a bad a$$ diesel truck of our own and that will some day be his! I'm a single father raising my almost 11 year old since he was born. And ever since you guys came on air both me and my little dude never missed an episode! You guys rock!

I just love everything about you guys, I think my favorite thing is the commaraderie between you (and your fearless antics)...I grew up a gearhead and cherished my time as a wrench (I'm medically retired now, fighting cancer)...your show and channel takes me back to making potato guns and pranks not suitable for public comment...rock on to the entire Sparks crew, there's a lot of us out here loving what you do...oh, it doesn't suck that a lot of your footage is from one of the most beautiful states in our nation...

The discussion about the Viper V10 Powered rock crawler is probably the best description I've heard for Torque vs Horse Power. Yes you of course need horse power and big numbers are always a good thing but without decent or big torque numbers you will never have the raw grunt needed for a lot of things. That one vehicle would be a very good way to help people understand why it's not just insane horse power that matters. Fun list and yes I want to see the VRuck but I'm not so sure about the VRoat...

Love this video. I hear y’all about the mechanics lien. My granddaughter bought a 2004 Ford Expedition. She drove it like a tank, literally. Bottom line, bought it for $5800. AC never worked. She did not keep it clean. She drove it over a bad country road like a tank. After a $2000 repair, she drove it less than 1,000 miles when she somehow about shook out the whole front end. Another $2000 repair. Instead of telling her family, she abandoned it at the shop. Worst experience. I actually would hav3 got that truck but she wouldn’t answer us. I bet Downtown Auto or 3rd Street auto in Siler City….got a good truck after repairing it.

I worked as a skilled Tradesman at Cummins for 30 years, retired in 1999. They had a couple of V engines for years. The longest running was the V903 it was used in over the road trucks for several years. It was used in Tanks for the military for years prior to the turbine development. and for years they had a vim-vine V 4 which was a good delivery truck engine back in the 40's-50's. My uncle used to drive for KLM trucking back in the 70's his International had a 903 in it. He did a lot of cross country hauling. He would get his lunch eaten by Cat's 4306 trucks in the mountains out west. I spent 1 weekend retuning the engine and after that the Cats could never keep up with him going through the mountains again until it broke the frame and they gave him a different truck. But I have to agree about the 5 liter V8. They were just starting to develop it before I retired. It has way too small bore and stroke to make a engine with any real torque.

My Eco-diesel is Great. I have a 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires. I have no problem with mileage or towing power. I think you didn't program the tires or change the gears in the rear end. I have 2 Eco-diesel's and I love them both. I get over 600 miles to a tank on the lifted truck and on my Laramie Longhorn Edition I get 750 miles to a tank. But I do have a Ram 3500 that has a 8 inch lift with 38 inch tires that I rebuilt the Cummins 6.7L engine and gave it 200 HP more. With a twin turbo. I can pull my 5th wheel without a problem up a mountain and I get a pretty good mileage of around (depending on what I am doing) 450 to 550 miles to a tank. Truck is programmed for towing and economy driving with a flip of a switch. You may not like Ram trucks but don't put them down unless you know how to set them up correctly. You seem in your video that you have no clue how to set up a Cummins engine or the truck itself. Just my opinion on owning Dodge trucks and Ran trucks.

Still stuck with the 7person scraped build. Maybe a multi purpose rear end that can have a pickup bed. But could come off like a semi truck container and you can put on a smoking hot for smoking meat. Or a sauna or a hot tub. Fire fighter tool cabin. Police detaining facilities. First aid cab. Flatbread. Crane. And so on. It would be a perfect truck to go to wildfires, floodings. Hurricane desaters and so on. Or just a good truck to go hunting or fishing. Maybe hauling some Motocross machines or what ever you can think of
