@RidersUpTim, I write this only because my Dad was named Tim. I do not bet on horses but if they decide to run City of Troy in this ( I think they should not) there is no horse mentioned here, in the other nine, that can come near him. This is a very special animal. But I believe he should run in the "Arc deTriomphe' he is too good a horse to risk injury on a wet dirt track--whatever the prize money. Good luck

@@TrustTheProphets Yes, he’s that good on turf at least and I’m certainly not the only one that thinks so. I don’t like the Euros for the Classic, but this horse is as special as they come and I think Justify gets his Classic winner too.

Thorpedo Anna will run in the distaff against older females . Also Arthur’s ride is not running in the classic and furthermore putting him as #3 is something out the question mark. Forever young #1 and have not run since the Kentucky derby trial is also out the question.

I am a Thorpedo Anna fan but she should rest this race off as her race with Fierceness certainly has taken alot from her City of Troy will be too much for the bunch as Dornoch Sl and Forever Young will be fighting second spot end of story

Lotta horses to consider but Mystik Dan JUST started training again (if I'm not mistaken) so its doubtful he is going to make it for BC Classic. Seize the Grey was considered and on a few prophets lists but didnt make the overall top ten. Check in next time to see if it changes.

Dornoch is toast, A great horse but I don't know of any horse that ran all of those races and won the classic, except of course for American Pharough. And while a fine horse, Dornoch is not American Pharough. I would be pretty surprised if Arthur's Ride even enters the Classic. His collapse in the stretch at the Jockey Club, at Saratoga where he won at the Whitney, would pretty much seal the fact that he isn't gonna make it over 10. No mention of Mystik Dan. Derma and Forever Young have shown they can factor at a mile and 1/4. Fierceness won the Travers. Sierra Leone can go the distance. But my pick is Thorpedo Anna, unless Next can get in the race.

Mystik Dan is unlikely. I think he JUST started training up again. I think Arthurs Ride was turned around too quickly for Jockey Clube after destroying the Whitney. Not counting him out yet.
