Imma be honest, this might be my just being stupid, but I've underestimated chirpa omi many times before. I don't think it's bad particularly, cause it can be annoying to deal with

in my opinion the Iden team is super strong even without the Omicron. That´s why i don´t see a reason to put it on. What match-ups does the Omicron change in your experience?

@@iOnlySay honestly all of them, the TM gain on attacks out of turn is crucial for MM, CLS and GAS in 3s

@@iOnlySay I agree with Calvin. 20% health and protection as well as 10% turn meter when people attack out of turn is absurdly powerful. Not to mention the 35% bonus protection. Most of what I use iden for in GAC wouldn’t be viable without the omi. She’s really my only go to CLS counter besides a mirror.

You forgot to talk about talons omicron, I think it deserves an honorable mention. It ramps up the triple omicron traya team into a an even faster ticking time bomb. Load her with offense/speed/protection, and she will make the team tougher to crack and constantly heal them. R8 just amps her damage even more. My favorite R8 I have

Mmm I'm not a huge fan of it. While Talon is good with the comp, the Omicron doesn't change any counter.

@@CalvinAwesome a well modded triple omi team makes the Traya vs Jabba counter a lot smoother with the heals from talon, and the team offense ramp with the omicron. It also makes trapping with the team easier on defense. But it’s defiantly a luxury omicron.

@@Darth_Jah defense I could see a little. The jabba counter doesn't really seem to be a thing. It has a 3% win rate that actually drops down to 2% when you isolate it for all comps with the Taloncron

If you want the Raddus team to be as Bad batch safe as passible, it´s a good idea to use Chirut and Base. Base can dispell the Defense up and Chirrut gives tenasity up! that helps alot vs BB teams

I'd love to put omis on Asajj and Merrin - the Nightsisters used to be one of my favorite factions. They are very fun to play. But the issue is that I now use Daka and Zombie with SLKR most of the time. So, once we get Snoke, or some other SLKR lifter, then hopefully I can get back to using my NS and put the omis on them.

Ackbar(more assists) and Leia(has off up in kit, grants retribution) omis work well with Pao(grants all allies off up, CD lowers when rebel allies use basic) Bodhi(grants allies 50% Def when they have Off up and grants Off up after every turn to ally without it) and SRP(revives if buffed, gains off up on basic)

Leia's special also has a very low cooldown and counts as a non-attacking action, so it will also always trigger Ackbar's Omicron double assist. As long as you never split the two of them up, and treat their omicrons as essentially "half omicrons" , you can get good value out of them turning a group of disparate rebels (probably pilots) that you have geared up for other requirements into an effective 3rd/4th unit to go alongside CLS, Raddus/R1 and Mothma/Fighers. It would be lovely if there was an Iden type Omicron for rebel Fighters, but - in its absence - Ackbar/Leia as a unit actually make a servicable fist of getting some value for leftovers. With the benefit of hindsight, you'd probably make those two luxuries but they're not useless, just surpassed (given that they were the first two GA Omicrons if I recall it's probably not surprising). They can still give some value though.

Had ackbars omicron, I’ve gotten my mileage out of it. I still use it for cleanups with leia and stormtrooper Han, but that’s it, wish I coulda put a second one on malgus

Did you say you were free to play? Would love to see a video of you showing us what you do on a daily basis with character/ship farming and then how much you allocate energy to gear. I try to come first in fleets to get 400 crystals a day but I can’t always do it. I normally farm 4/5 character shards on waking up. Then the rest of the day I use energy for Kyro and I still never have enough.

Ackbar omicron, applied when it was new as didnt have a whole lot of characters geared up, its OK at best up to chromium in GAC, against bigger rosters really doesnt do a whole lot

@@CalvinAwesome it was left over rebels, leiah (no omicron thank god) stormtrooper han who really needs Relic to survive to hand turn meter round and 2 other randoms. It did catch a few out on def back wall with the turn meter train. Now I use on offence, I've used 1x in aurodium so far, not all that useful only against other bad teams

i got trapped and have Akbar and Leia 🙄🙄 now I have Traya and Savage …. i have them Gear 12 and i took out a Relic5 CLS team with them …. highly recommend

Hey Calvin. How long into the game does it take to get knowledge? This game makes me feel super idiotic lol. I’ve played for about 2 months and I’ve probs get phoenix team and bounty hunters down but that’s it. I’m learning mods. But how do u know who to use for attack or defence etc and also how do u know which characters to use against specific teams? Atm I tend to just guess and it’s 50/50. Like with savage who does he counter?

I won't lie with how large the game is now it takes a while. The more time you put into it the more you'll learn, I'd recommend joining a live stream every now and then pick some people's brains or maybe a discord server

He's awesome man, been a great offensive team in 3s with Hux to beat CLS or Han/chew teams. Much less relevant but just used him with phasma to beat sanacron in 5s.
