Dude was in the right the whole time.
@dmaxwell910901 Жыл бұрын
He wasn't. The only time he was genuinely in the right was during the battle of castle black, where he was admittedly a good leader and actually put aside his issues with Jon for a night. Every other time, he's just a hateful knob who puts his dislike of Jon over what's practical and in the interest of his brothers. If he was always "in the right", he would have allowed Jon to train the other Night's Watch fighters and would've sealed up the tunnel prior to the battle.

I always say "Lord Commander" in my mind exactly like he said it. :) One of the Characters they really did well in series, the actor did a great job. Edit: Though there is one scene i missed here: Where Jon Snow is leading the wildlings through the wall (or is leaving for hardhome...not sure), and asks for his opinion and then answers "As always i thank you for your honesty Ser Alliser"...that scene should be in here too.

Jon and Ser Alliser's relationship was the most realistic workplace relationship there is. Some of the best workplaces have people you can't stand. They may even have personal vendetta's or biases against you, but some of those people are still the best workers in your company. You don't have to like each other, you just have to work together. I loved how each one gave the other small semblances of respect even though the disdain was always present.
