I've been using Yasaka scissors for over 20 years, and I have 3 pairs. They are a good all rounder, smooth cutting action and a good price. I also own a pair of Wings and Nic scissor, and Yasaka come very close in cutting ability.

Your explanation on sizing is not correct. The palm only plays a factor in handle design.( control ability while combining a section)

$1,000??? People don't know what they don't know. If I sell you a piece of bubble gum for $100 does that make it worth $100? Cost and value are two different things. I bet you own Hatori Hanzos.

Hanzos I was told are definitely overpriced. The cheapest Hanzos are now $600! I bought mine used for $250 online and the seller gave me the lifetime warranty and the card from the representative that sold them to her. I called the # and got the life time warranty. I also like Washi and Yuroshi shears. I want to get some Hikari shears.
