Great list. From the ones I've tried Ambre supreme and rose de jamal were my favourites too. Need to get that sample set though as I'm interested in the patchouli and Indonesia one

Thank you very much Rich for this video. Absolutely love the brand. One of the best niche houses atm. The prices are quite up there for only 50 ml but I’m slowly collecting the ones I like. Rose de Jamal and Vanille Havane are also my top two, wouldn’t be able to rank them though.

One of the most interesting niche houses of the last few years, not my favourite but I have quite high esteem for them, especially the ones made by Mr Lee. From memory I get quite a similarity between the musk accord used in Musc de Sables and Musc Ravageur, that fuzzy, powdery and bit animalic base, very nice perfume indeed. Cheers mate!

Great stuff! I own Escale en Indonesie #4 and Vanille Havane #2, both are great perfumes. Need to get Rose de Jamal #1, I really enjoyed the rose and mint combo. 🦆👋

Try Iris Cacao or even Iris Cacao Mysore Edition from Miyaz. Expensive but they are worth it. Iris Cacao is buttery iris and cacao and tobacco

Literally just sprayed Patchouli Noisette as I seen you uploaded this Rich! I love the cypriolic, earthy, dry feel to the Les Indemodables patch. I own that, Ambre Supreme, Vanille Havane (obvs) and Rose du Jamal and feel these are the best.

Thank you, Rich. You inspired me to purchase the sample set. Excellent value, as you said. So far I've just skimmed through the collection. I need to go back and give them a proper wearing. Very brief first impressions thus far had Ambre Supreme speaking to me the most. Then Muscs des Sables and maybe Escale en Haiti. I thought I could detect a cumin note in the Rose de Jamal dry down, but it could have been my watch strap, lol. Rich, I wonder if you've dismissed FE, CdC and IP because they perhaps lean feminine?

I agree that Rose de Jamal is up as one of the best fragrances from the house. Escale de indonesia is probably tied for 1st place for me. I think it's difficult to make a better cologne.

Great rundown! I got to try Coeur de Oud recently at luckyscent, it was better than I expected but my expectations had been tempered by seeing some others tepid reactions to the scent. I've still yet to buy any bottles other than the cologne from the brand, but I think Musc de Sables would be first on my list.

@@luis1985 there's a perfume called ambre stone and it's by a brand remi founded a couple years before Les indemodables and Ambre stone is essentially an edp of escale en Indonesie

as much as i love rdj, maybe my second fave, I absolutely get the dill at times. I'd say ~ half the time that green element reads as mint, half the time it comes off as dill to my nose. It's kinda weird.

I wonder whether you smelled any "amberwoods" in Coeur de Oud and it wasn't a bother, considering you have put Patchouli at the end of the list.. For me it was one of the first things that hit my nose :( Having Rose, Ambre and Velours on my sniff list for a while now - one day.. :)
