My favourite blind buy this year has to be Gozo by Jeroboam. I visited Paris in spring and of course I had to go to Jovoy! Tuberose and patchouli are some of my least favourite notes, but when I smelled Gozo, I just had to have it. It is such a beautiful fragrance, smells like a hard fruit candy with powdered sugar, but a grown up candy with some depth to it. Just lovely!

I've slowed down on blind buying, but did successfully buy these two, both from Trussardi Le Vie di Milano: Passeggiata and Limitless Shopping. I was pretty confident I would like Passeggiata (I love hazelnut coffee) but Limitless Shopping was a stretch for me, and risky due to the honey notes, but I love it.

Hey Veronica 👋🏽 great picks! I like to call myself a blind buy warrior because I do it so much lol if I can’t readily get a hold of a sample then I’ll take the plunge and most times it works out. It’s risky but I like the thrill what can I say 😇 This year I had more success than the last. My best blind buys this year have been morph durisimo, Kilian rose and oud (the new red bottle version), Royal crown Nocturna, paco rabanne major me, ranai j musc mochas and shl god of fire. I just blind bought 2 more today to end my year of blind buys… I got the new one from goldfield and banks island lush and ojar red redemption edp. I hope they both turn out to be loves. We’ll see soon 😆 My worst blind buys this year were Santal complet (smells great, has no performance), Byron green butterfly (very lackluster for a limited edition scent, big let down) and pink me up by atelier which was nice but rather basic and not worth the price even though I loved the pink bottle. Just wanted to say real quick that i’ve enjoyed your channel this year that I discovered it and I’m wishing you more success with it. Hope you have a great Christmas! :)

My top blind buy this year is Lattafa's Opulent Red, a fragrance that dries down to the smell of cooked fruits surrounded by booziness and cashmere. I feel delighted and uplifted wearing it. The second is Al Hamaramain's Oyuny, a very different green apple and pineapple fragrance with mrryh, which gives it depth. It is a unique (challenging) fragrance that draws the wearer in.

I have had two super successful blind buys. one was Glazed Ecstasy and the biggest blind buy was Greenwich Village. My least successful blind buy was actually nothing bad Ex Idolo love & crime was just stunning on me and i loved the smell and projection and longevity but im quite allergic to it. Hey Cheryl! 💖 Have you ever tried Sun by Jil Sander? I ended up selling it but so many people have said it reminds them of sunscreen in Central Europe in the 80s. I know what you mean about the Bain de Soleil smell. Not sure Terracotta is exact, but there will be elements of that smell in the perfume that may scratch that itch. I just love Terracotta. I've done a lot of blind buying in the past 6-7 years but I'm trying to sample first now, mainly bc I want to curate my collection to align more with my current tastes and reduce the amount of barely worn fragrances I have. My eyes just popped out of my head when I saw you hold up PMC Ylang Ylang Nosy Be! Not a blind buy but I did sample it quite recently, along with the PMC vanilla, and OMG I LURVE this fragrance and MUST have it 🤣 I'm with ya on the vanilla one though...it was strange and not for me. But this Ylang frag is so rich and gorgeous. I also found I love (though not as much) Ylang in Gold and would love to add that to my collection as well. Big bold beautiful florals, white and yellow, with some sweetness and density to them, seem to be my wheelhouse these days. I've only bought one frag this year so far which was Fracas. It was a BB but as I already have Petit Fracas and love tuberose (both the note and the perfume Love Tuberose lol), it wasn't high risk lol. I also got Amouage's Sunshine Woman in a swap this year and I love it. Also not a BB but only had a small sample to try just before the swap. But I love it! ❤ Yes, Remember Me by Jovoy has also made it onto my want list. Haven't tried Cafe Cabanel is one that's been on my radar for ages but haven't tried it yet. I'll have to try to get my nose to it too. 😍

My top successful blind buys this year are Cartier Baiser Fou, Cartier Lys Rose (I may have jacked up the name but it's something like that), Arizona by Proenza Schouler, and last one I got last night Kate spade "live colorfully Luxe" which I got at burlington for $20 bucks. I am blown away by this Kate spade one, I did not expect this with a designer scent. I may be jumping the gun but wow, the nicest lingering spice scent. Can't wait to test it more. Remember Me sounds nice because I love tea notes and tea type scents. Great picks :)

Top blind buys were Shaghaf Oud by Swiss Arabian and Le Bain by Joop. And part of what I like about Le Bain is that it has a lot of Tonka which gives it a lovely smooth vanilla and slightly cherry feel.

Hi Veronica, many thanks for yet another great review! ♥️ My best bb this year was Oud Marrakech by Blend Oud. I bought it for my husband as he loves ouds, but ended up wearing it myself all the time 😃 It is such a chilled lemony coffee fresh oud with an oil undertone if it makes sense. Goes well with my wooly sweaters too. 🌨️ Soon after that I also grabbed one more bb from them called Khoul, which I haven't opened yet. I am sure it will be yet another win judging from online reviews and my own experience . Blend Oud is a great brand, my first experience with it was blind buying their Oud Sapphire years ago and loved it ever since. 👍 Have you tried any of their offerings?

Hello Veronica! I had so many blind buys this year too. Especially if there’s no way to sample them. A few fails and mostly successful blind buys. I consider all the recent Navitus collaboration fragrances that I got, some of my best blind buys: Venom of Love, Chocolate Queen, and Raised Spirits. I also consider Tribeca and Greenwich Village my successful blind buys for 2022. But my favorite blind buy for 2022 is Commodity Milk, Expressive and Bold (I want them all). Jovoy’s Remember Me got me curious the way you described it. I blind bought Jovoy’s Fire At Will, and I love it so much. I might try Remember Me. 😁

1) vanilla by alyssa ashley- better than skylar/7 virtues but not quite as good as spirituese doble vanille but only 7 euros 2) Wirtanen by tiziana terenzi, better and better with each wear. Not a typical TT DNA. It is comforting and cozy- caramel, touch of oud almost a black tea like note more than oud Love your list!

Great finds. I’ve had some luck! Remember Me, Oud Seven, Bewitching Yasmin, African Leather and Babycat. Also the new Shalimar Millesime Tonka especially after giving it maceration time is tonka heaven. Oh and Jeux de Peux and Santal Basmati. Had a handful of fails and have luckily sold them

One of the best blind buys was your recommendation of the gorgeous and affordable Boucheron Quatre en Roses Florale. Ameer Al Oud Intense was the best blind buy for my husband, and Euphoric Oud by Fragrance World was a complete blind buy which I hadn't seen a review of. I fell in love immediately with Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends which is like it was designed for me, like it could be my winter signature scent. Oh, and KHAMRAH!!!

I didn’t do a lot of blind buying this year but mine would be Lune Feline, Gris Charnel and Azora which I nearly decluttered cos I couldn’t smell it initially😍😍. I have sampled all the RM fragrances except for no.6 but the sample is sitting in my cart together with Cacao Porcelena and Pannettone😉😉. Remember Me is so beautiful and calming, it’s one of the samples I purchased from Jovoy😍😍. Sandalwood smells like coconut to me sometimes. I (I mean Ryan...?) blind bought Xerjoff's Golden Dallah for me for Christmas because you made it sound so good. It's sitting in my closet. It's just sitting there. I don't get too excited about Christmas gifts because I'm not good at pretending I like things that I don't, so it's usually a crap-shoot around here. I'm very critical...Hmmmmm. Anyway, this year I can't WAIT for Christmas morning! :p You sent me a sample of Remember Me, and the opening smelled like Minuit et Demi to me, and I swear I saw somewhere that both Remember Me and Minuit et Demi smell like Golden Dallah, and that they are all similar to the new Navitus Raised Spirit. That profile is having a moment, and I'm SO HERE FOR IT! This was super fun! Yay for Café Cabonel! :)

There is a certain thrill to blind buying. Faves for this year were: Xerjoff Dolce Amalfi, BDK Gris Charnel, Swiss Arabian Casablanca, and Amouage Sunshine Woman (travel size only on that one). The interesting thing, too, is that most of these I didn't love right away.
