I'm not much into shopping, at least not at these types of places,(used book stores and thrift stores are a whole other matter), but this making me a little misty-eyed, thinking about when I lived in Rosarito and Ensenada and had to make FMM renewal border runs every 6 months. Always did the same little ritual: Wells Fargo on san ysidro Blvd. For 6 months of rent (had to pay in dollar money orders), play around at guitar center for an hour or so, then Charley's Cheesesteaks and maybe a bit of a walk around the stores, then through the big gate that always made me feel like I was being released from prison, walk to the bus station, and back on the bus to Ensenada. Charley's Cheesesteaks will always be the taste of America to me. 😢

I’m tryna get my mom and brother to come down and just walk around, don’t even need to really shop lol cause we haven’t been down basically all damn year cause of COVID and that’s never happened especially during Xmas season it’s basically our Xmas tradition to do our shopping in daygo 💔💔 Ps I need to be inside that Armani exchange lol

My mom used to work at the border and said she used to take the trolley and get her shop on all thru San Ysidro in the 90s lol

I'd like to know parking lots that don't charge a fortune to visit San Diego. I want to visit balboa park , little Italy and other tourist areas but parking is soo expensive that it is discouraging. Or at least to get some tips on what to do maybe park farther and take a bus?

Nice video, but I'm like you - no lines for me! We visited this mall with my DW a few times(kind of drive from Oceanside), once to get interview with CBP (Customs & Border Protection) for Trusted Traveler Global Entry (SAN was booked solidly). 2 of my favorite stores - New Balance to get my sneakers, and Van Heusen - Izod.

@@Jaycation Once I have to pickup Here Be Barr & HittheroadBarr at Ped West(from their trip & video to Rosarito). By the way Global Entry helped them to beat a huge line to enter USA from TJ. I think our Global Entry also due for renewal soon, not that with current COVID any plans to travel anyway.
