Top Things to do in Frankenmuth, Michigan ROAD TRIP MUST SEE

In this video we share with you the top things to in Frankenmuth, Michigan a ROAD TRIP MUST SEE. This little town known as Little Bavaria, Frankenmuth Micigan is a fun must see on any Michigan Road Trip. This super fun town boasts a deep german heritage reflected in the people and culture encompassing this amazing town. From its Alpine inspired architecture to its dominant Germanic cuisine the nickname "Little Bavaria" is a perfect fit.
One of the ongoing debates in town is "what chicken is your favorite" a battle between the two giants, Bavarian Inn or Zhenders a food battle we took on with knife and fork in hand.
But the battle rages on as both giants boast amazing bake good shops. We have settled that debate with the best desert on this road trip, the Butter Horn from Bavarian Inn.
With great excitement along the Cass River you have options with the many boat rides, the Bavarian Bell, Fun Ships or paddle your own kayaks.
Be sure to check out the many restaurants along main street.
If shopping is your thing this walkable town has a multitude of shops, from sweets, to amazing cuckoo clocks. Enjoy Gnome hunting in the "hidden Gnome Game" get more than 10 and win a small prize.
One of our favorite spots is St. Julians Winery for both wines and spirits, and be sure to stop at Frankenmuth Brewery one of the oldest micro breweries in the US at 160 years old, great beer and amazing views of the Cass river.
Don't leave Frankenmuth without see the 100,000 Christmas lights of Bronners Christmas shop, the biggest Christmas shop ever! This stop also has a replica of the "Silent Night" chapel, inspiring the serenity of the hymn "Silent night"
This should be on every Michigan Road Trip itinerary in our opinion.

Wow, there's a town in Washington state that's like that too but on a smaller scale. I ate enough fried chicken in bacon grease or crisco to last me thank you. Now pastries are a different thing. 😀

This little town is so cute. Love how it makes you feel like you've had to use your passport. Bavarian Inn for the win. I'll take one of everything at the bakeries. Yep, no taffy for you. Fudge'll work. The wine sounds good. Seek n' find gnomes-nice. Covered bridges are a favorite. I want to go to Bronners. Don't be a Scrooge. What a great place to check out.

Went to frankenmuth 25 years ago also did saginaw island and downtown deroit and the ghettos. Lol even got pulled over by the police gun drawn told me not to exit the car so told him I'm getting out to have a smoke. Got out and still alive felt sorry for him because he couldn't understand my paper driving licence from the UK.

If you eat at Zehenders or Bavarian Inn you will be disappointed. They are the same restaurant and they both SUCK. The worst chicken meal ever.
