I'm Canadian, saying.... Morocco is a beautiful place to go . Very hospitable people. 2019 was my first trip to Marrakesh, ( 2x) where I found peace and converted to Islam. Alhamdullillah! third visit in 2021, in (Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Casablanca and Rabat). and Inchallah going back (ticket is booked) end of July 2022. I learned to speak the language (both darija and amazigh).That is how I love Morocco so much.

Cool video. I actually did the 3 day sahara Tour from Marrakesh going to Tizi Tichka, Ait Ben Haddou, Atlas Studios, The Kasbah, then to Todra and Dades Gorges, then to Merzouga onto the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. I have visited all the main sites of Marrakesh but I did day trips to Agadir, Casablanca (to see Hassan II Mosque), Ouzoud Waterfalls and Imlil where Mount Toubkal is located in the Atlas

This is amazing! I will be in 2 weeks! I hope I can pick your brain with a few questions! 1. Did you book your hotel directly or did you use a third party? 2. when reserving a car for traveling outside of Marrackech did you reserve through the hotel or an online site? 3. I noticed the attractions you visited were very desolate, is that because of the time of day you went or is it just because of the lack of tourist due to covid? Also last thing, was it a struggle getting to your hotel with your luggage, I hear it can be a challenge as there is usually no direct drop off. Thank you in advance!
@JayCurtis3 жыл бұрын
Hey Danielle, great to hear from you! Firstly, I booked the hotel through TUI but you can book directly with them via their website. My car for travel outside Marrakech was booked via a company called 'Get Your Guide' - in fact all my trips were booked through them and I've used them all over the world. Much cheaper than local trip companies and they book directly with the local providers and the connect you directly with them as was the case with out driver to the film studio as well. As for the attraction yep they were very quiet as Tourism there is very low at the moment so it makes seeing seething and taking pictures much easier. I have heard Jardin Majorelle used to be so busy for photos but we had hours there and passed just a hand full of people so we were really glad everywhere was quiet. You'll love it! 👍

Hi, could you tell us a bit more about the air balloon ride. How much did it cost, how did you book it, and is their food provided on it? Also what are the restrictions like when you were there, did you have to come back in at 9pm?
@JayCurtis3 жыл бұрын
Hi sure thing. I booked through GetYourGuide ( they operate throughout the world and used many times) I think there is also 10% off if you use their app. They then deal with a local local and put you in touch touch them. You save a lot on booking through a hotel or local trip operator. It was £275.66 for 2 people. Restrictions are quite normal and might change by the time of your visit. There was a 9pm curlew meaning you had to be back at the hotel but that could alter or be dropped at short nice. Overall there was no other major restrictions and had a rally enjoyable time. I would deffo return!
