Y’all are so hopeful it fails lol. Intamins issues with the original and mavericks delay and rmc with steves brake issues were all worse. I really doubt all of you were calling those a mess last time ya rode them. Patience is all it takes to enjoy one of the tallest coasters in the world, but we’d all rather argue thst zamperla should make flats 😂

We appreciate you so much! I try my best to not be negative too much, I think its easier to nitpick things when reality is we all love riding rides and everyone dislikes downtime - we just try to stay in the middle with it so we can stay neutral and loving parks. It does stink when rides go down, but its not exclusive to cedar fair or zamperla and alot of the crowds have been negative about it - not my cup of tea lol.

I remember when Top Thrill was shut down and the rumors of who was going to do the replacement..... Zamperla "has a great record".......how's that working out now Cedar Point?

Karma's a bitch, and they should've known better. I love how you're implying Zamperla is even worse than Intamin when it comes to their track record, especially when Intamin has proven to us that they redeemed themselves in the roller coaster department. I kinda had a feeling that Top Thrill 2 was gonna be a helluva disaster, but didn't think much of it.

I predict, it opens mid June and closes in July. Zamperla is in way over their heads in this. Also remember that Cedar Fair has cut have their maintenance budget. Not a smart move when you almost killed someone in 21. Cedar Fair seems more concerned with becoming Six Flags than anything. Also remember, that none of Cedar Fair shareholders want this merger. Cedar Fair pulled some strings not allowing their shareholders to vote on the merger. They knew it wouldn't be approved.

If they cut their maintenance… how’d they catch the issue so early then? I mean all of this is just hopeful they don’t succeed. But we’ll just conveniently forget maverick was built and instantly moved its opening date back weeks to rebuild the part over the water, magnum closed in the 90’s for routine reworks on the track, top thrill dragster closed after a few weeks in 03 and stayed down, steel vengeance overshot the brakes in 18… I mean the list goes on of OTHER manufacturers not named zamperla facing WORSE issues with their coasters at some point, and nobody held this negative energy towards them a year later. Heat of the moment i’m sure, but Zamperla will be just fine with or without top thrill 2. Cedar Point would be as well, I mean everyone went and still had fun the last 2 years. Just think we should all relax a little when it comes to making declarations about being in over their head with stuff when every manufacturer beforehand was in over their head with something too. But idk, maybe they are and you’re right - seems too early to call it over already. Time will tell.

@@GhosterCoasters that new Mack coaster at Thorpe Park is having some sort of issues. they had to take off the top of the lift hill with a crane. nobody is saying that Mack is over their heads. I don't understand why people want Zamperla to fail so bad. I'm pulling for them

Now we know that Cedar Fair should've scrapped this hunk of metal when they had the chance, because it's clear to us that Top Thrill 2 was a failure in the making. Trying to keep it alive (and in pain) for 20 more years is only going to bring more technical trouble for everybody.
