My dad finally has some viewings on Saturday for a couple allotments after waiting for probably just over two years 🎉🎉🎉 the allotment is for me as I will be the one doing everything but as I’m 17 my dad has to view them and be the name holder obviously so I can’t wait 🎉

Thanks for this - I love your pink shed! Your plot looks huge, can you share how many poles it is? I just got the call today after 2 years on the waiting list, I am finally getting an allotment a stone's throw from my flat - I am so excited and super happy to find helpful videos like this to get me started!

Have binged all of your videos over the last week or so. We have a new allotment and you can’t get us out of it 😂, I’m hoping that enthusiasm continues. Our garden at home is a tiny terraced paved yard and we’ve spent ages growing food in that space for years but having an allotment is a game changer! Just being outside and feeling the soil, touching plants, getting fresh air all makes my mental and physical health so much better. We were even out there in snow yesterday! Keep up the videos, they are so valuable to so many.

Great light hearted view to starting a plot. Agree with all, sadly can't put a shed on my plot so instead have a seating area and a big umbrella.
@emmasallotmentdiaries4 жыл бұрын
Oh really? I had no idea some plots didn't allow that? Well some seating sounds like a great idea! x

@@emmasallotmentdiaries ya we aren't allowed structures,its a privately owned allotment,can't have a polly tunnel either. I don't mind, but your shed is something i would love 💚💚💚💚

Getting my first allotment in September. I was just wondering the beds for me need to be lot higher as I suffer with a bad back What is the best thing to put in The bottom of the beds so not using too much soil to raise them up was thinking of putting some plastic pallets In the bottomin to raise them up Will this work
