I've noticed Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has been alternating hand positions on the start although not taking the hole shot in either.

7:10 quantify "much faster". to your point if it was much faster wouldn't all the elite CX racers do it?

Never won a hole shot cleanly in CX to winning 3 in a row. That’s the best I can do for ya. I really don’t know why pros don’t get in the drops. I need a pro to ask. Brb

@@BrianDavisraces probably because any advantage it provides is negated by the fact you have to switch back to the hoods for the remainder of the race. having said that I could see using it for a pavement, or otherwise smooth, start where you can safely switch back to the hoods.
