@@TravelDroner the truth about the scammers.. went to tulum, went to chichen itza, went to a mayan community. even a walk around the hotel zone was filled with scammers. coco bongo, scammers. la isla mall, scammers. the airport! scammers! a beautiful country full of oppurtunistic predators ready to eat tourists! and the stalls and shops all sell identical wares!

Hello, No, Tourists No Longer Need Tourist Cards for Cancun As of 2024, tourists no longer need to fill out the traditional tourist card (FMM) when arriving in Cancun. The process has been simplified. You will still need your passport, and upon arrival, immigration will stamp it with your entry date and permitted stay. Enjoy your trip to Cancun!

Yes, it is true, but we have a new government right now, so you do not know if they will start enforcing it either way. I would not risk it. Just pay for it and have peace of mind that they will never bother you.
