Yesterday James Bamford was interviewed in Democracy Now. He wrote: Enormous Expansion of the Law, US-Israel data sharing. It was startling and everyone should listen to this interview. He also addressed the following: Israel is considered a rogue state because they did not sign the nuclear weapons pact in 1977 and in 1979 let off a nuclear bomb in the antarctic. The law states that no country may supply weapons to such a country. So all those countries e.g., USA, U.K., Germany, Holland etc are non compliant to this law … if I understood this correctly. A pre-requisite would be educating the populace into a social norm that a part of one's income goes to pay for that, and acceptance the burden may not be even. Go out and meet some. I have. There's a lot of mental illness/drug addiction out there that used to be penned up in an institution where you didn't see it. Some like their freedom. Some had some tough breaks/bad decisions and just need some stability to get back on their feet. There's no one size fits all with the homeless. Takes a team effort county by county.

Micro community service jobs. That requires a team of social workers and supervisors and a distributed system of shelter options from single resident semi-isolated for the disruptive free spirits to small communities of law abiding homeless in special sections of trailer and RV parks. Almost all of them I have dealt with are looking for a little job to get a little money, which often goes right into a vein. It's a complicated job that needs a team in every county.
