I cannot believe that indicting these police officers, all black, was not a political show of police accountability. I am in NO WAY saying these officers are innocent or absolved of the murder of Tyre Nichols. What I am saying is that black officers are treated differently than white cops. ALL Cops, black, white or otherwise should be held accountable for despicable and criminal behavior. And so should the people who oversee the conduct of each and every police officer and their duties as cops.
