When hundreds of people say their children developed autism immediately after getting their vaccines, and the number of cases continue to rise, I can understand why some people are not convinced that it isn't caused by vaccines. In 1970 the rate was 3 in 10,000. Now it is 1 out of every 36 kids have autism. Some claim this is due to improvements in the ways doctors diagnose autism. If that were true then the number of cases would have spiked overnight instead of rising steadily.
