Top Valley school pre-demolition walk around

This is a walk around of Top Valley school lower school unit before it was demolished. We had permission from a security guard before hand.

I'm not sure who these guys are but I was there from 76 to 81 Jimmy Kemp and my big brother Mark were best mates. Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🙂

That's was good, you went through my form room about 4 times lol.. I left in 89. Your forgot the science legend my Gallagher has passed to the next level too.. Bless him and his helium balloons lol.. I was one of Mr Joshua's favorites,because we shared the same first name lol..

I was there from 85 to 90. Seems you had a different layout to what I had. The building you start off in was the 1/2nd year English and Maths classes, moving through to Music with the awful Mr Rose (always had to sing bloody Streets of London). then on the opposite end of the lower school from the music was art classes. My tutor room with Mr O'Leary was next to the little inside garden. The lecture hall used to have stepped benches. Tuck shop never had it's own room, but in my last year I ended up being a prefect and having to monitor the line to the tuck shop. Used to get given sweets for being friendlier than the other 2 that did it. Miss the school, miss some of the teachers, don't miss some of the kids. Twats lol

Used to like O'Leary. So sad that he's passed :'( My fave teacher was Mr Woodhouse. Good bloke. Could have a laugh with him as long as you got on with your work and didn't go too far.

My mum went to this school she left in year 9 or 10 and moved to Arnold hill but it’s crazy to see where she learned and now she’s 33 .. 🥺
