Top War's SVS has it's pro's and cons. In this video I talk about Sever Versus Server (SVS) and yeah, I'm trying to get you into it. Let's Go!

For those that do not know, you can fit 170 buildings on your Main island. I always save one Gold Mine, but you can save more or less as your Gold needs demand. That means up to 170 Tanks and Planes in somewhere around 6-8 hours. If you don't want to think about, or click, all of those buildings you can use the bulk training option in the pull out drawer on the left side of your screen. In the seas, you can fit 126 Shipyards. The fastest way to rebuild is to use these 296 Training buildings and add 1 unit to each. As 1noobnoob described, once your storage facilities are full, you can start destroying some of these buildings to make room. With no Training Speedups, I can rebuild my Base 100% in about 4 days (my Base holds almost 2800 units, so it may be faster for you). AI Training (aka Mini Kuruzo) is huge and if you have Kuruzo, he is as well. It is absolutely worth improving his Exclusive Skill. One thing 1noobnoob missed was the camaraderie you develop amongst your server mates by fighting together in SVS...a great way to develop much closer friendships than playing this like it's a solo game.

Another great video, well reasoned. 2 reasons I don't join SVS: 1. It's almost always at a time I can't play. Maybe once a year I can get online when it's on. 2. It's the only event where I can get completely levelled and score zero points. The odd occasion I've been able to play, I've not found anything I could hit to get points and plenty of strong players around who could wipe my base without me landing a blow. Losing everything and getting nothing in return is not fun. I love TC: can practice all the tactics you describe and not lose all my troops in the end. And yes, I agree, repairing & replacing troops is a lot easier these days. But I have a tactic that gives me a chance to get some points for limited loss even when I can't play. I post a defensive force on a resource tile using Kate Curry (for the ATK SPD buff) in the hope someone hits me and I can score a few points.

Ouch sounds touch on the SVS front. I'd recommend two things: 1 sending troops to hang out in ruins for points, and 2 jumping over to the enemy server to look for people to smoosh. Thanks for the comment!

It's mostly pretty discouraging prior to d-day, everyone researches on the opposing server, only to see ranks of players at high combat levels and in large numbers as well.💥 It's daunting and intimidating to step out of our bubble when you're definitely going to be 1 shot away from getting all your units razed to the ground. 😭 I understand your point on participating in combat experience to master the art of picking fights and teleportating away afterwards. However, it still remains daunting since we never get sufficient time to practice such tactics when we immediately get slaughtered, which that is the (overall) end of experience. 😅 I would almost argue the cons outweigh the pros for F2P, even though it's essentially trading units for gems. 😢

Yeah I get the frustration, and I've been leveled more than once in the first 10 minutes of SVS. There are a lot of strategies to get points, I just mentioned 2 battle tactics that I know take time to get good at. Save up moves and speed ups, search for targets you think you can hit, and then go for them. You get points for a lot of things in SVS, including sitting in certain ruins your strongest players hold.

I’ve been on strong server and little weaker and always participated in svs, easier to get in top rewards in smaller servers and very active fights in stronger servers so always good to participate. Did hide my vals before and don’t have any now for no stress Always lots to do as MM and no matter the troops you have the more marches in ruins or capital will help, even if 1 unit. So the more fighters the better and it is a battle game after all😊

After the release of Titan Gear, most base skins are more or less irrelevant. That aside, most of the rewards are still not good enough when considering the time and resources spent. Lastly, the fact that the event is fixed on a certain day (Saturday) and time (7am where I live), it isn't an event that can played on one's own schedule when there a bit free time . Combine all that with the fact that you will lose your Valhalla units if you aren't the strongest player, and that creates a recipe for the lack of interest in participating.

as server leaders it's so discouraging to see just how many people choose to bubble rather than fight. I do my best to encourage people to give it a try once, and they usually love it, but some just never get over their fear of losing their pixels.

💯. The more activity in SVS, along with communication and teamwork, the more fun. It's true for me win or lose. I fought without vals for a very long time just because I wanted to play, but couldn't stand fixing them up.

Im more a bubbler due to work and not fully knowing what im doing. But yeah if rewards were more enticing i think more people would take the plunge. Just gained cloud data base, more chances at other bases via shard collecting to help with stats would help the grind for ftp more worth while

I bubble up during events when I can't participate. I think the best way to learn SVS is to just start by looking around and scouting for people you can hit, and save up a good amount of base moves so you can jump around.

Think what sets most people away from svs is the matchups. Too often it’s one sided battles. Maybe more server mergers might help this.

In my case, VIP 0 have the advantages of SvS war. As long you know how to Play wisely. I have reserved here 8k + svs points.

A problem that you don't address is the time scheduling. There are a lot of folks that can't play at reset -2. Also the matching between the opponents is not very good. Especially now with the Titan gear and folks gaming their CP score.

Thanks for the comment. For sure I wish there was more flexibility in SVS time. It gets in the way for a lot of us. Another commenter here suggesting a longer fight window, which I also think might help 😀

I don't think that you can jump on enemy server with val units in alliance facility. If you are 30-40M player you know that your val units will be destoyed 110%. Because of that SVS is event for only big spenders or players without val units.

Thanks for the comment. No you can't jump with troops in the alliance facility. As for the only big spenders part, I think if your focus is taking ruins then yeah that's hardest. However sniping enemies on enemy servers, and parking in ruins to earn points you can do at any level.

If you are cp 30-40 mill and you have vals, grazy. I am cp: 71 and I do not have any vals. I love to fight, and that is why I do not have vals.

If you want see the real reason SVS is dying you have only to look at the horrible bad match up for 779 this weekend. Sever leadership has simply released the hounds (those who want to base hit) to just have fun with no expectation of victory.

Since the day i played this game, i only skip SvS is that if I don't have time to play,, nor to say if i have something else to do or have other sched to attend to. I'm VIP 0 but i always in top 10 or higher. 😁🥰☺️ Whether we win or lose. 🤭 And i got that baseskin you've said in this video at lvl 2. It's so satisfying.

@@1noobnoob I would love too, but sadly I don't have one. I want to share all I observe to this game and what I achieve since the day I played it. I have a good good stat as VIP 0. I'm a solid Navy user only. Nothing more. I'm good at collecting. And patiently waiting to spend gems and items at the right time. If there's ranking of VIP 0 at TW, maybe I'm at ranked 10 or above. Well, that's only my assumption. 😅🤭 I would gladly to share all I know or tips being in VIP 0 before I quit this game. ☺️

1. Valhalla units are not cheap = it cost 700k+ odinium each battle for me 2. The rewards are no longer useful 3. Everything is titan gear dependent, most people who have grinded their acocunts for 3-4 years get spanked by an account who just focused on titan gear and not overall growth. 4. Match making is bad, and u cannot win against some players, unlike TC where u can gem and repair all troops, in svs u cannot do the same

What about MM and svs ? You build facilities, take back ruins and get nothing from it .

You get points for certain ruins and for beating enemies no matter if your MM or CE. I'm guessing your talking about no point for facilities MM's build?

@@1noobnoob if you play in a team you have some tasks to do so it is much harder to get those points. If you play as individual then you can do whatever and get some kill points. I play every svs and TC.

lvl 40 cp against a map full of 80+ cp, kind of like, Doc every time I touch the flame it burns. Doc don't do that then. and that is why bubbles exist and svs is doomed. I understand you are trying to drum up more targets. The battle graphics need updating to what the commercials look like. Presently they look like a 5 year old made them on a 486 pc. The devs only seem to know cut and paste, for the cash they bilk out of people they need to do real work. Just my 2 cents.

Oh for sure the graphics of battle are underwhelming LOL. The more people that play, the more competitive the event is, and the more fun it becomes for everyone. You can not go in the battle. You can send your troops to ruins, and get points.😊

@@1noobnoob If there was a mechanism that lower player (cp) could act like a swarm of bees to kill the higher players. Then there would be a chance. I think that is my main concern, no chance.
