Could be the Welsh accent which I found wasn't a good fit for that song. She also needs training in stage presence and the way she moves her arms. So there's a lot to work on there. Having said that, it was a good start.

@ with the greatest of respect John, I don’t know how old you are but I’m 60 this year and followed Whitney’s music from the early days, and I saw her perform live on stage, so with that in mind, I’m entitled to an opinion. The that perform her songs may not be exact in image or singing in the exact same key as the original because everyone has limitations on the amount of octaves they are capable of producing. But that does not mean that they didn’t do justice to a great track, and those in the music industry know who’s good and those who are great. Kind regards

Fabulous talent, magnificent voices each and every one of them. Yet strangely, Whitney Houston shone even more brightly and eclipsed all of them! No slight against any one of these singers - they all made me gasp and my heart tremble with joy. Belinda Davids certainly had the edge with the more mature voice, she was channelling Whitney more closely. Then the 11 year old singer pulled at all my heart strings and tears rolled and rolled.
