The most scandalous thing that happened in my highschool is, my principal dress coded me and brought me to his office and he kept looking at me cause I had on a very short top and it was spaghetti straps. He then gave me a shirt and said go change. Then when I was walking to the bathroom he was looking at me butt…let’s just say he got fired..

K that's so obviously a lie that somebody has to call it out. Why would you be looking backwards at him while walking away to the bathroom? Are you an owl? Cause if somebody has a view of your butt they are behind you and you can't see them. Unless you decided to awkwardly walk sideways from him to the bathroom, in which case it would be easy to claim he was actually looking past your butt and you would not really be able to prove otherwise. Security cameras within school are rare even now so I don't for a second believe that some perfectly positioned camera caught indisputable footage of him looking at your butt. Even if that were the case it is EXTREMELY unlikely that he would lose his job as it is actually not illegal in any way for him to look at your butt, no matter how creepy and wrong it is. To fire a principal for that, especially without solid visual proof, would be a MASSIVE legal liability. There's just no f-cking way that any school board would ever do it. Even wealthy schools don't play with fire like that. You even described this as happening while he was enforcing the dress code. You don't see the irony there? It's completely impossible to enforce a dress code without looking at the students. To notice your shirt was too low he had to look at your chest. If he were determining if somebody's shorts were appropriate he'd have to look at their thighs at the very least. In other words, it is literally part of the job description to be looking at various areas of the students' bodies. This brings me back to the absolute necessity for SOLID PROOF that the way he was looking at you was perverted. Even with such proof it's very very likely that he would only have been suspended with pay, not fired. I typically give people the benefit of the doubt but I know too much about schools for there to be any doubt on this one.

I too went to an all-girls high school for 11th and 12th grade (we’d moved that summer to a new state). One afternoon in my first year there (11th grade), the entire student body was called to an assembly in the gym. It turned out that a Derham girl had been caught in a local department store’s parking ramp making out with her boyfriend in the back seat of his car. An older woman saw them and recognized her uniform jumper (they were very distinctive) and she called the school. The principal was horrified. Hence we were called into an “emergency” assembly. Here’s the best part. We were always being told, “Remember who you are and what you are.” It was their mantra. So after Mr. Clubb (yes, his real name) told us how terrible it was that this girl (turned out to be a 10th grader) was caught in the back seat of a car with a boy, he admonished us with “Remember who you are and what you are. And if you’re going to engage in such activities, for God’s sake, take off your uniform!” I don’t think Mr. Clubb realized what he’d said, but Sr. Phyllis, the assistant principal, sure did! The look on her face was priceless. We juniors and seniors completely lost it! We were laughing so hard, we couldn’t sit up. (We were all sitting on the floor.). After about 40 seconds, the sophomores got it and they started laughing. It took the freshmen at least another minute to start laughing, but you could tell they didn’t understand why it was funny and didn’t want to be left out. Until I graduated, none of us could hear the “Remember who you are and what you are” speech with completely cracking up, much to the chagrin of Mr. Clubb and Sr. Phyllis.

Most crazy thing: A freshman went missing & everyone was worried because she didn’t have a history of running away. Days later, a cop checking out a car parked at the mall after hours finds her naked from the waist down with a 10th grade science teacher, who has (had) a wife and kids.

Two crazy things happened: One day, I arrived at my science class and we had a sub. I didn't think much of it, since we got to watch a movie for the entire class and take notes. But the next time we had class, our teacher was still missing and we had another sub. Later that day, I was called to the principal's office and questioned about said science teacher. My principal asked questions like, "Were they a good teacher?" and "Did they ever do things that were off or put their hands on other students?" I honestly never saw anything like that and was pretty confused. WELL...the word got out that my science teacher slapped a female student with a frog (the ones that are supposed to be used for dissections) in one of their classes. SHOCKING! I was not in the class when it happened, but they must have found enough evidence to support this because that teacher was let go and we had subs for the rest of the year. Also, the high school I went to was known for having lots of students making bomb threats, especially around the time of final exams. Not only was this a MAJOR safety concern, but if we had a bomb threat made in the middle of exams (AP for example) there was a chance that the scores would be nullified and we would have to retake and pay for new tests out of pocket.

i went to 3 schools in grade 8/9 my high school's most scandalous things was MY teacher who taught the special needs class was caught with CP after he had transferred to a elementary school (yikes) thankfully I was in another school when this went down and we found out. Another was a classmate being killed on our school grounds. Grade 10/11/12 We had a upgrade being built and so we had constant fire alarms which made it easy for students to torch things in the building like a garbage can in front of the photography classroom (We had a full working photography lab in our school, chemicals and all) and pulling fire alarms in closed off parts of the school during downpours outside. Lastly was a dead body being hidden in a couch on our track and field. Just for hilarity this was in canada

In 7th grade one of our gym teachers got caught talking to 13 year old girls like on to catch a predator during Christmas break, he was also sending videos of himself jacking off to the undercover cop so they had plenty of evidence, have no idea if he's still locked up it's scary to think because he was one of the coolest teachers and everyone loved him so to hear that happen it was crazy

A family member's elementary school had two scandals I know of. The first is a teacher made fatphobic comments about a student. He made a PowerPoint Presentation about what the student brought for lunch, and shamed the student in front of the whole class. Thankfully, that teacher was fired. The second is that some kids in 5th grade were goofing off, and a substitute teacher said "Stop acting like a 3rd grader with special needs." I can't begin to describe how ableist that is. Thankfully, that substitute teacher was fired too.

My parents went to Upper Merion High School during the late 70's. I believe the principle killed at least one teacher and either his kids, the teacher's kids or both have been missing ever since. The story was made into a movie, mini series and a book all called "Echoes in the Darkness"

In jr high one of my PE teachers did not wear underwear under his shorts. Every class started with the students sitting spaced out in rows on the pavement and him sitting in front facing us and leading the stretches. The middle section of every row got the worst of the view and we were always placed alphabetically by last name. I was always the first in the first row so even thought I could see unfortunate things I had the option to look forward instead of at him. The whole middle section had to avert their eyes or suffer. I only had him one year, luckily. Everybody who'd been in his class previously got a kick out of seeing his classes from an outside perspective. At certain moments in the stretch routine you'd suddenly see the majority of the class quickly move their heads all at once and look elsewhere.

Two out of many at my school…one being substitute male teacher hitting on all the senior girls in each class I believe he was 24 at the time but should have known better. And the second was our principal sleeping with our dance teacher while he was married our technical arts for drama caught wind of it at the time and when he got fired he let everybody in school what went down and the principal was fired. Dance teacher still kept her job.

Our drivers Ed teacher\football coach got asked to quit after a year at the school. There are many theories on why he had to leave but the most obvious is that he came to school high every day. It was all very hush hush became his father used to be the school principal for like 20 years, and he was well respected. Now our ex teacher grows shrooms in his house for living. After he was asked to leave, he made a TikTok on the front lawn of the school of him flipping off the whole school administration.

Scandal in my high school made the news... Freshman year English class...our school was small and poor so many of our teachers were also coaches. Coach gets a call regarding an upcoming game and goes to take it...we're teenagers and shouldn't need constant supervision... GIrl bets another girl that she won't give this one dude a [censored]. Girl takes the bet and everyone freaks out getting the attention of those in the office and girl and guy get suspended.. Girl tells her dad that she was forced to do it...dad goes to press charges against the school and the guy...Coach gets fired (he was terrible anyway...he would "forget" to record my grades so that I failed his class and had to be confronted with my graded work and threaten harassment lawsuits to have it fixed)...anyway, during all this it comes out that she was bet one whole ass dollar to do that and the charges were dropped We made the news....it was horrid.... I was in that class too...like...when it happened.

Oh, I had a scandal alright. I was rather popular in school, so I knew someone in almost every clique, which meant I got all the gossip (though my gossip came from the teachers too... I was sorta a teachers pet because I knew how to keep my mouth shut and ears open lol). My freshman year in HS, I had a biology teacher who was involved with several of the jocks. She was caught with several of them in the sports building at the same time which led to what the students called a 'pink slip'. Never found out what happened as everyone was told not to talk about it. What's more, she was married and pregnant... still never found out who the daddy was. She also knew about the male teacher who was giving special attention (and $5k diamond earrings) to a fourteen year old in the basketball gym. 🤣 That year was a party...

When I was in high school we had two substitute teachers that started fighting each other on campus. It must have been an “on sight” situation because they saw each other during a passing period and ran up on each other. The campus security officer tried to intervene and got in the middle and he got knocked out. The school had to call the police to get them to stop fighting.

Most scandalous thing at my school was one day, a fight broke out after school was dismissed and one of the guys stole the other guy’s shoes off his feet. To make it even messier, the school wasn’t sure what to do because one of the fighters wasn’t even a current student but just showed up to fight and got lost in the crowd. They didn’t know if the enrolled student was attacked and robbed by someone on their watch or if he was simply fighting another student. In the end, he was at school the next day so I think they agreed to not suspend him and let his parents pursue legal action on their own against the other guy since school was technically out when the fight happened. About a week later, the entire school suddenly went into lockdown after lunch ended and we were on the way to our next class. Kids in the hall were hurried into the nearest classroom with a teacher and told not to leave. No one knew what was going on and about an hour later, we started seeing police cars pull into the parking lot and officers in the halls. Rumor was that the guy who was beat up and robbed had a gun but no one confirmed it or told us what was actually happening. Rest of the day was spent in the classrooms we were locked in and we were dismissed at the normal time. Seems common these days but this happened back in 2005.

One time in 7th grade at my Christian Elementary/Middle school, I told all of my friends that I was going to bring brownies. You see, my grandma from Thailand was visiting and she bakes the BEST brownies. So, I brought them to school and shared them with everyone. Come around lunch time, I get pulled into the office. The staff were interrogating me about my brownies: where I got them, who made them, and why I brought them to school. I told them that my grandma made them, and then they called my grandma to confirm that. Later on, one of the popular girls, also my friend at the time, told me that another girl in my glass brought weed brownies and was spreading them around, and that the school probably thought that was me.

I wouldn’t call this a scandal cuz It was sad asf but my high school shut down two years after i graduated because a senior stabbed two sophomore. One passed and the other survived. It happened in a classroom during advisory. This caused many issues regarding how bullying was handle in the school because the killer is a bisexual male (also I knew him personally :/) and he was very open about it and the victims were homophobic. It caused a lot of chaos between the students feeling not safe and traumatized by the event. This part I may consider a scandal - the school officially shut down due to poor test grades, constantly changing principles, lack of college readiness courses and also students were never punished if they are harming another student. Overall, the school principle at the time and the superintendent were blamed for not listening to their students and made the school very unsafe

At my school we kept having mysterious fires being started. One fire burned up the choir’s gowns the girls wore during musical concerts. The worst part was that those gowns had been passed down for generations and it all went up in smoke. :(

When I was in high school in Kansas in the 1970s, a school security guard got a student pregnant. He had been fired from another school in town for doing the same thing there.

Our district scandal was our Ex-Superintendent embezzled a crap ton of money (we are talking hundreds of thousands) and used it to buy himself computers and tvs and fancy cars, and when the school board finally caught on he had sold most of the stuff for like 3x in profit. So do with that what you will.

When I was in the 10 grade 2000/2001 a substitute teacher and four classmates we're selling drugs out of the substitute teachers briefcase and we had to have the police come and arrest the substitute teacher and the students who are selling the drugs on school property. Boy was that a hard on to tell the parents about what had happened.

When I was in High School/Secondary school we had a thing called Q-Cards ( kind alike a debit card ) we could put money on to pay for our school lunches, now each card also had a 4 digit code assigned to them so you could learn someone's code and get free lunches if you got there before them, anyway once day a few of us was messing around in the cafeteria and none of the staff was around so I swiped my card on the machine you used to pay for lunch and a friend just hit random buttons and somehow added £200 onto my card ( I wish there was a way to get the cash but it was just digital currency, ( ( OMG IT WAS BITCOIN LOL ) anyway safe to say I had free lunch for a long time TL;DR I got £200 worth of lunches for free

The only thing i can think of is in my senior year of highschool a student attacked a teacher and had to be escorted via police and got kicked out of school (it was a tech school where people got in via interviews and good grades).

The only scandalous thing that happened at my high school was that we didn't hold talent shows because a student died of an asthma attack during the last one. This was back in the early '90s.

One year in High school, my daughter's class was with the Spanish teacher who clasped in class. He died from a heart attack. I was grateful my daughter was not in class at the time. We felt so bad for the students who saw it and his family.

One of the principals at my high school had to resign because he was apparently drinking on the job AND at home, had multiple affairs (maybe with students) but I couldn't even write about it in the school newspaper 😢

School spirit week, (as it was called in My elementary school but I don't remember what it was called in the high school I attended) sophomore year, Thug Thursday. I didn't pay much attention to other outfits, and I should have because the principal sent out an apology letter the next day. It was the SBOs who came up with the idea, BTW. But you can leave the way the students dressed that day to your imagination. Nothing compared to the first, and I don't think it counts. The year school returned to in person learning, I learned that an old IT teacher of mine had pulled a vanishing act (as I call it, they couldn't get in contact with him at all), and they discovered that the two closets in the classroom had been filled to the brim with computers and other things that were super outdated. After removing it all, they discovered that one of the closets had a window in it! That was how much stuff was in there. I don't know how far the news spread in the school, but my US Government class in my senior year had a sub one day, and it was an Evangelist. He wouldn't shut his yap and two students left. I regret not pulling out my phone. This was in a 5-12 grade charter school so I hope it counts. I started school there a couple of months before summer break so I wasn't there long. Especially because the principal got in the news for not paying his teachers.

At my high school, the biggest scandal happened my Senior year. My business writing teacher was having an affair with one of the football players (super popular at that), and he along with several other players nearly lost their scholarships just because they knew. She didn't get fired but she did get placed on leave for half of the year and came back before we graduated. Another scandal happened the year before where one of my classmates had a relationship with our resource officer once she turned 18...and he was married!

When I was in high school, I remember it was my senior year and there was a couple who are teachers part of the music department. When was the band teacher and one was a choir teacher. I don’t remember exactly what was the fight about but the after school jazz choir witness the band teacher hit the choir teacher with the trashcan and she fell down some stairs and to this day he still has a job there.

My mom is a teacher, and in one of her classes a student almost accidentally murdered another kid. He thought it would be funny to spike some of the food on a party day with mustard. The other student was LITERALLY dead-in-minutes allergic to mustard. Luckily someone else took a bite first. They had to stop letting kids bring food to school after that

The biggest scandal at my school and the only one to happen while I was there was a senior sleeping with her teacher it spread all over school and there was a picture of the 2 asleep together I heard it was for her to get a better grade but I didn't know either of them I also heard the teacher left his family for the girl and that they might have a kid together

I started a new school and always heard rumours of the two vice principals having an affair. My senior year I physically saw them flirting and acting suspicious on my aid hours. Here comes the scandal. I was delivering senior ring packages to teachers and they were on top of the main stairs playing around when the male vp pulled the female vp into his arms kissed her and cuffing the booty. I simply turned around to just go another direction until the female vp fell down the stairs! He pushed her down the stairs on accident. Her husband ended up putting a restraining out on the male vp... Her husband worked for the school board and had to watch all the security footage of the affair.

When I was freshman, two people (male and a female) got expelled because the female gave him a blow*** in the back of class and the worst part about it is that the whole event was caught on film and circulated on snapchat. The teacher who was in the classroom at that time and caught them actually ended up quiting because of it 😂

In my sophomore year of high school, we got a new geometry teacher. He was married, but there were rumors he was sleeping with a student. 2 years after we graduated, I was working the self check out at Walmart. Him and a girl from my grade walked up holding hands. The second they saw me, they split up and went to different check outs.

I’ve long since graduated but during the time I was in high school, one of our calculus teachers was sending inappropriate pics to a couple of the female students. He wasn’t fired right away it took them at least I wanna say a year or two after I graduated, and I graduated in 2014. So this went all the way to either 2016-17

Dude i think number 4 was someone who went to my highschool. That shit is almost identical to what happened at my school. The only diffrence was people found out so he had to step down and no longer be a teacher and then when we graduated a year later they got married.
