Awesome retelling of these Krakoan X-men stories Amanda. The retcon of Moira MacTaggert as a mutant is the most interesting thing that’s happened to the character in years. I think she should maintain the ability for future comic readers.

This is main problem of comics industry (why they loose so badly to japan manga) - comics dont have guts to move story forward instead of making just another reboot and return to "status quo" . Thats basicly mean - all events mean nothing and basicly are filler. . How to deal with it in current circumstances? Well, take example from WH40k. Warhammer get in exactly the same trap (basicly plot did not move forward for decades = all events become unimportant ). So they make soft reboot with Gilliman return and completely destroy (figuratively and literally) this "status quo"

I fill like the best way to get us all back to school with the X-Men, is to create a new team of students, with the original x-men being the teachers. Let there be some time progression. Let some of the of characters have kids (Rogue & Gambit having kids would be cool to see, would also be cool to reveal that storm has a kid-maybe with the black panther). Jubilee as a teacher would be dope, and making Polaris the new leader of The Brotherhood of mutants is also really great synergy.

I could totally see the krakoa era being the precursor to Age of Apocalypse and I so totally think that they should reboot Age of Apocalypse going forward in the future

Personally, I would rather the mutants primarily move to Mars/Arrako and build their own world... the idea of constant persecution by humans has become tiresome... have portals/gates on Earth and a few satellite embassies that monitor new mutants coming into their powers and give them basic training/education... it's time humans are left to deal with their own problems, without the help of mutants...

@@lucaleone4331 Home is where your family is. The bigoted humans do not see the mutants as family. And the mutants have outgrown being the whipping boys for human inferiority. They terraformed a planet with their powers. All of Arakko (Mars) became a livable world because of them. A pristine, clean world. Why stay on Earth? Have the portals there so mutants can leave and be who they are. Keep an X team on Earth as a first response team, against evil anti-mutant groups. They basically went and splintered the entire mutant world back to pre-HoX days because... the movies? Lame.

Ain't gonna lie, most of the Krakoan X-men run was a bit of a slow burner and the more interesting series were cancelled like X-factor and Hellions. Wished they featured some of the New X-men (due to trauma from M Day, still treated as rookies when they were the same era with Wiccan and Hulking) and Magneto's Acolytes Some narations are also wack like they keep focusing on the classic X-men when more powerful members of their nation could have been enough to take on some threats when Krakoa was invaded, Silver samurai, the guy that made a crystal castle, Surge, Hellion and Armor

Yeah. That’s why I liked titles like X corp, Way and Legion of X as counters. The sabretooth stuff has been interesting but yeah, New mutants gave a good deal of perspectives. Frankly, I could see a bunch of the Academy X kids turning villain now after all this. Aside from Dust… who is probably the reason you don’t see Surge as much.

Well character wise that was the only logical way to go. You get hunt...decimated...treated like a violation instead of an evolution of nature...no matter how hard you try to help, they only blame you for everything...who wouldn't be radicalized??!! If anything is a testament that mutants tried as long as they did! Hell with the innate power of a few Omega mutants, they could have simply warp/destroy none-mutants out of existence and just be done with the constant fighting.
