Definitely preferred older version of Deadpool - I think they made him a bit _too_ insane/weird. But it was clearly profitable for Marvel. He also showed up in Wolverine back in the earlier years.

I loved Deadpool from the first choice x force issue i saw him in. I also enjoyed the Cable/Deadpool series in 2004, collecting all the issues. I really want to see more Cable in the MCU, as he is another of my favorite characters, since New Mutants.

I thought deadpool was created by someone who wanted to draw spiderman with guns, and deathstroke came out as a deadpool clone. I'm not sure about the exact dates, but I know for a fact they both came out in the 90s, and the early deadpool comics I've seen always look older than cable comics
