In this issue, Rogue temporarily stole, Thor's and Captain America's powers, adding them to her own, making her ultra powerful. On a side note, she tried to absorb Wonder Man's powers but he was immune to her touch.

I would put hydra on the list. Not based off of strength or power, but patience. Hydra plays the long game, and while the avengers are running around playing whack a mole, hydra is working in the shadows, diligently, and with a single purpose, for decades.

You guys are reaching on most of these. UFOs? Sinister Six? Are we talking about King Thor (with the Odin Force), Hulk, Sentry, Scarlet Witch, and Captain Marvel? Like those Avengers? This isn't even including members who have recently been on the team like Hyperion, Blue Marvel, Ghost Rider, Red Hulk, and Weapon H. The only thing that stops teams like this are plot armor and certain cosmic level beings.

Highly unlikely. The Avengers have faced down against vastly, VASTLY more powerful threats than the Sinister Six (who are not even as powerful as smaller scale teams like Fantastic Four or the GOTG).

Depends on which Sinister Six members and how they go about it. In a straight up brawl they’d stand no chance, maybe Venom and Sandman would be the only ones to knock them around some. But if they scheme and strike from the shadows Doc Oc and Mysterio could be pretty nasty.

I lost respect for this list when they said "sinister 6". Spiderman has beat the group by himself, most of those guys are B level villains. Thor could probably crush any version of that group on his own, much less the whole Avengers team. Now if you match up the strongest version, or the "Sinister 12" vs the weakest version of the Avengers, say a team made up of heroes like moon knight, mocking bird, hawkeye, dr druid, maybe throw in the OG human version of Jarvis; then yes, that version us "stronger than the Avengers".

They have some unique style powers working together but you would have to put them against a low grade avengers time period. Without the hulk or those who crate strong winds. Only thing making them more powerful at times is a writer who likes them. Sinister 6. Hasn't spiderman beat them. Hulk, Thor, cap. Or dr strange. And lets throw in spiderman since he knows how to beat them. And the big sell is Spidey had to call for help when 12 of them attacked him. lol alpha strike..... getting funnier. They had to mind control others to make them anything. But, lets not forget mastermind basically used politics to create problems for the avengers. Henry G did that in the old days. Without powers. OK> Listening for the next one. Liberators. A bad copy of characters that are rewrites of the Avengers. Match one on one vs the rip offs vs the remakes. I don't see the villains winning much. Loki is the main issue. But Thor is there right.... Itellig..... Doom is the main threat. And that is just because the writers have kept just adding to his power. Brotherhood of evil mutants. Comes down to who is on which teams. scarlet witch then vs now....... Give it to the avengers. Magneto loses more than he should. But Iron Man and Magneto has fought before and Iron Man has won. I think it was in 2012. Dark avengers vs avengers has happened. It all comes down to the Sentry or they have nothing major. Venom is hard to fight. The others lose to their counterparts all the time. But sentry has also been an avenger. Blue Marvel is an avenger. And he is being hyped more and more to bring in readers. So they would not let sentry win this. And if you look things up, they already let him win over a couple people. 4 horsemen comes down to which avengers. as always. Black Order. I like them. And then it still comes down who vs who. But they are good. Cabal is like the hero Annihilators Throw a few together that makes them a lot more than they are one on one. Thanos put them over the top. Just like Surfer does for the heroes. Can always count on this for a laugh.

How are the x-men more powerful than the avengers? A lot of x men members served on the avengers for a while. However, put the Xmen main roster against the Avengers main roster and I think the avengers win 7 out if 10 times. Thor and Hulk alone could solo the Xmen!

You remember when Loki set Hulk loose on the Avengers while messing with all their minds at the same time? So what happens when Professor X or Jean Grey an Omega level Mutant decide to control both Hulk and Thor and set them Loose on the Avengers all while the rest of the X-men are fighting? Hell Magneto alone could probably solo most of the Avengers

@@mike21378 you said Loki did this. Loki is and Asgardian and has that kind of power. Xavier doesn’t. Jean doesn’t either unless she is Phoenix Force Jean. The Hulk is too wild and strong! Loki even lost control of him. Thor is Asgardian, so he probably won’t be as susceptible to the power of humans as much. There are two examples of what I’ve said: 1. There is a comic where Loki made a low level telepath so powerful (amped his power up) that Professor X became terrified of him! Then there is the movie Hulk vs. where Loki took control of the hulk and then lost it because of his rage! Then there is the comic where Thor beats the Phoenix Force! Also remember Xavier and Jean are human. Which means they are susceptible to human weakness! One punch, shot, blast, etc. and they are down for the count! Then who do you have left, Storm? Wolverine? Colossus? Ice man? Beast? Cyclops? Against, Ironman, Captain America, Thor, hulk, vision, Hawkeye, the black Panther and the black widow! Don’t even mention Dr. Strange because he could solo their whole team by himself! The only wild card is Wanda, because she’s been on both teams before! But I think Dr. Strange would handle her realistically, if she chose the Xmen. I’m not trying to crap on the Xmen. However, Avengers was put together to handle universal level threats. The Xmen were put together to deal with humans and magneto! And if Spider-Man could whop your whole team by himself (see the original secret wars), then what chance do they have against a whole team of bruisers like the avengers. But, it’s comic books so it all depends on what the writers want.
