I think Pokémon market is just too volatile. Kind of hard to actually be certain of what may be a "good" investment. I think if you're just a collector and not thinking of gains, then definitely buying in dips is good, even if it drops a little more than when you bought it.

The blue garchomp is underrated its a card that grows on you the more you look at it! The blues and turquoise with the garchomp in the middle very unique! Roaring moon is unbelievably cheap for that card!!

Totally agree, the temporal forces and paradox rift cards aren’t being talked about a lot because of everything else going on but exciting Pokémon like Garchomp and iron crown with solid illustrations are almost guaranteed to me to go up in 2 years time. Love the conversation man keep up the great content 👍

What are your thoughts on Charizard V alt from Brilliant? I feel like it's undervalued compared to its alt art counterparts, especially with it being a main chase, zard, with amazing artwork.

@Trappedinnewyork yeah, I grabbed mine for $300 a couple of months ago. I'm definitely happy with the purchase and feel like it's a steal, even at the $350 it's at now. Just pulled the trigger on Lugia @ $470, I think it's another that will see a significant rise once silver tempest is off the shelves.

To be fair cards are always at insane prices when first hitting the market release of new sets then psa10 copies drop significantly over 6 months so its not really anything new at all it's normal. These card prices aren't really all that great considering most of these aren't highly sought after. Not a bad but but I don't think there good buys or steals by any means.

Meh, I believe you're corrent that there's money to be made with these cards, but I don't believe they are going to the moon for big money. Most will aquire around the top 20 SIRs and then seek vintage again...😅😂

Everyone sees the market differently. I think we're going into a pretty bad economic crisis worldwide, so these cards will be another 75% off over the next 4-6 months, and I think that's where they'll stay for 15+ years. Very few cards will go up over time from here.

All the 22-23 doom and gloomers are still waiting on the sidelines… Irrational for prices to not go up over 15 years with inflation….

Cards are not investments. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Don’t tell me your cards from 3-5 years ago went up $200. You can spend a weekend doing yards and make more than that. People should buy cards to collect… not to “invest” 🤦🏾‍♂️
