The only problem I see with these vehicles is they just advertise to everybody that you're a pepper and are ready for disasters while everybody else isn't . This makes you #1 person everybody is going to go after for canned food to vehicles

Ukrainian Sherpas are the best off road vehicles hands down. Not fast but will never get stuck or stopped by water. Ripsaw is also cool for thick mud issues. Rezvani is just an awesome bugout car except no one knows.JLTV is proven in war and can take heavy damage while trucking along.

One of the best vehicles needs to be hardened from emp needs to be able to be repaired in the field minimal maintenance and not dependent on fuel! I suggest a good bike with solid tires! Also its silent! Though an ebike and mobile solar panel setup could be good! Dont forget desiel is only good if you have stabiliser and forget petrol after a few months plus everyones going for that liquid gold! In a bad situation!

Not one of these shiny flashy vehicles is good for bug out. They mostly focus on protection, like you´re going to be shot at by Guerrila Rebel army, your worst enemy actualy is fuel consumption when you´re driving 5t 4by4 armored to whistand mines and RPG´s. Totally unnecesary. The flying car is a cool idea but not much carrying capacity.

In a serious situation, fuel won't be available. It already happened with covid. I think best vehicles Will be electric ones you can recharge, ebike stuff like.

fax but if you have a 3000 acre farm with over 15000 litres of diesel in tanks youre all good
@johnnyzsalt5374 Жыл бұрын
They are meant to be able to escape. Biodiesel can be made from rendered animal fats if things get desperate. If fuel becomes unavailable there are going to be much worse problems than not having an EV when the power grid is unable to sustain electricity due to a lack of a power plant supplying it...with fossil fuels. EVs are going to be really hard to repair and no charging in a grid down situation whereas you might be able to find some abandoned vehicles to take gas or diesel from to get you where you need to go in an emergency. If an ICB breaks down, you would be more likely to fix it with spare parts from other vehicles than you would with an EV.
@seanmackenzie9295 Жыл бұрын
@@johnnyzsalt5374 we have a tesla solar set up at the farm which is 45kw and runs all our pumps ect. a lot easier having 2 teslas and that than the impossibility of making fuel from animal fats. youd still have a solid 2 or so years of fuel findings whether it be scavenging farm tanks or finding the odd jerry can and by that point your survival lifestyle would probably have you on a bike or e scooter (if you had solar)
@johnnyzsalt5374 Жыл бұрын
@@seanmackenzie9295 As long as you are able to repair and maintain your source of power then it is ok. Of it breaks or if it is sabotaged, then you would have problems. Sure hope you never need a Tesla mechanic. A lot of general ICB knowledge around. Not sure about EVs. And no, it is not impossible to make fuel from rendered animal fat.

list becomes more intresting, and here is some= anything made from volvo with rear wheel drive, peugeot of the 70s and 80s, beetle, or 2cv if you find one, anything with a buick v6 supercharger or a jeep 4.2, and most Japanese brands like honda and toyota, best is carburetors as one can then convert it to woodgas old tested tech used during the previous war when fuel was a major shortage in europe, not super effective and if you have a leak in the system its best to make sure the cabin is really well ventilated
@mattalley4330 Жыл бұрын
I realize you are product researchers, so you are going to review newly manufactured products. The main problem with your list, as Im sure you are aware, is that most of these items are likely to be priced in such a way that makes them unattainable to the average consumer, which makes this list less useful for anyone wanting to actually get their hands on a legitimate bug out/survival vehicle. Im pretty sure most of these things would cost six or seven figures.
