The crying boy painting was proved to not be a curse. It had 2 contributing factors for gaining the myth of being a curse. The first being that at least a couple of houses in any street owned one of these painting so there were thousands of copies of it around, and the second contributing fact being they were painted over with a protective chemical lacquer varnish, that was not flammable. so if any house would happen to catch on fire, and they had one of these paintings, the painting was very often the only thng that didn't burn. This led to rumours that led to the newspaper printing articles stating that the picture was cursed and it was the picture that was causing the fires. Then about 15-20 years later tests were done on the varnish's chemical compound and it was found to be protecting the painting prints from any damage from flames. I knew this was probably the case when i was younger, at least from around 1990 because my grandma passed away, and nobody in the family wanted the crying boy painintg she had, so it went in to the pile of things to be burned. Yet when thrown on the bonfire it didn't burn but the lacquer blistered on it and, although i was only about 12, I understood that it was more than likely being protected by the lacquer, and also my older brothers best friend growing up was chief fire officer at the local fire station and he said as such aswell, and said that people preferred to believe the 'curse' myth rather than the known science.

@@TK-fd3qt There are several research projects and papers validating The Bible. It’s not a myth… it’s Faith!
@JacknVictor
@JacknVictor 8 ай бұрын
@@Dragon.Thistle.112 those research papers only validate that it was written around the time it states it was, it doesn't validate the stories within. Some of them have grains of truth. Many have nothing going for them. The bible has never been proven true, nor has the Qur'an or any other religious book. Faith in religion is one persons beliefs in something that may or may not exist. Faith is personal. Faith does not mean something is true, it means you believe it to be truth. Literally.

The 2nd story, the one about the doppelganger, the reason it shows up when she is tired, is because when it shows up, it sucks her energy and then she feels tired. It is an energy vampire. She needs to see someone who can exorcise this demon. Very few priests perform that service.

Life is paranormal. Unfortunately it only goes where it wants and to who it wants. You can be standing with a group and only 1 or 2 people will see a paranormal effect while the others experience nothing. I have no idea why but that's how it is and that's why no one will ever be able to win Randys' challenge and get the million dollars. Spirit works on its own time and to who it wishes. I've had many different experiences but i cant force it to happen. One time i did tell my mom that i could use telepathy. I had been telling her things all my life and freaking her out. So i said i would call for my cousin who we hadnt seen in 5 years. I called in my mind as forcefully as i could. A few days later i was having a nap and my mom came and woke me up saying youre not going to believe who's on the phone. Sure enough it was my cousin. He had been riding his bike and it broke right by our house so he went to the mall and called us from two blocks away. She was more excited than i was. It was really cool. I drove a van so it wasnt a problem to go get him. That's just one of a hundred experiences like that. Life is paranormal. If you havent experienced it yet, just wait. It's the spice of life. ✨️🔮🪄

The distraction in the cockpit of flight 401 was a light on the instrument panel that was supposed to illuminate when the nose wheel of the plane was down and locked for the plane's landing stayed dark when a crew member flipped the nose gear switch. . The crew didn't know if it was just an issue with the light itself or if the landing gear had malfunctioned. Of course its very dangerous to try and land a plane if the land gear is not down and locked into place. They radioed into the MIA tower and said they had a problem and needed to circle the airport, which meant flying out over the Everglades . They were supposed to maintain an altitude of 2000 feet. Unfortunately, like it said in the video, at some point the autopilot was disengaged and the plane started to slowly, almost imperceptibly descend, and yes the plane's systems absolutely registered this drop, but the crew was too distracted to notice, even when warning alarms and chimes started going off. Anyone who's ever been to the Everglades at night knows it's dark as hell, so they couldn't see that they were slowly flying into the ground and didn't notice the altitude reading until the very last moment when it was too late. The plane hit the swamp, and burst into a fireball. The flames were soon extinguished by the water and there were quite a few survivors, but the majority on board Eastern Flight 401 died. And after investigations were complete, it turned out that the problem was that the indicator light- bulb had burned out. The landing gear itself had been functioning absolutely fine, it was down, in the locked position, and they could have made a perfectly safe landing

Latvia was never called "Walmer" by what it sounds like you call it. Latvia's northern area was called Vidzeme in the early 1800's but the country itself was called Livonia until 1918 when it finally became Latvia, but it was still under the USSR banner until 1991 before becoming fully independent. You'd be able to find this if you just google Latvia's history, and well being Latvian helps too, so cheers for including something about my family's native country but you got that one detail wrong and it irked me.

Yes there actually was more than one plane that crashed in the Florida Everglades. The plane that crashed due to improper storage was Valuejet Flight 592 which crashed on May 11, 1996. The plane was almost totally destroyed and there were no survivors. The plane they are talking about in this video was Eastern Flight 401 which crashed in the Everglades when the flght crew were all distracted by a burned out lightbulb on the plane's instrument panel. Flight 401 crashed back in December 29, 1972. 101 people died, but there were 75 survivors.
