Baseball players are the greatest athletes Its a fact Most baseball players can play both football and basketball respectively while the majority of football and basketball players cant play baseball with respectability The definition of an athlete is not who can jump the highest or is the fastest. It is the Men who can be competent in all facets of the Sporting world. Who can hit a breaking pitch or has moves and a coordinated delivery shooting aa basket or can catch a football and look like he knows what to do after catching it . Everything has to be precise in hittin a baseball with any sense of consistency Gettin a basehit once every 3 times up which is only 33 percent of the time will get you in the Hall of Fame.

Literally every combat sport athlete smokes baseball players and it’s not even close. Wrestlers mma fighters boxers bjj grapplers you name it all better than a baseball player. Speed agility strength stamina they do it all better. I understand it’s your opinion and you love baseball I do as well very much but I’m not going to lie to myself and I understand hitting a baseball is hard but golf is hard also but you can’t sit here and golfers are great athletes. There is no way baseball players will ever compete with the athleticism of an Olympic wrestler no way and god forbid they stub their toe they are out for 3 week while Kurt angle won an Olympic gold medal with a broken neck not making it up and he wasn’t hitting a ball he was fighting another man and opposing his will to him. I think baseball players have some of the best hand eye coordination in sports and some of the best quick reflexes and many are amazingly good athletes. But with that being said you don’t have to be in amazingly good shape to play baseball. Just look at some of the fat guys that have come through the mlb. You don’t necessarily have to be athletic to play baseball. You just have to be good at very specific things.

It has to touch the ground to be counted as a HR, so as long as the fielder retains the ball, it is an out.
