On Amazon, it says this thing is 57 inches wide.Is that correct, or is it narrower?

It's approximately 51.5". The box was probably 57.

@brianmo946 fantastic! We loved the tent. Slept in it every night for 2 weeks, even through the rain.... Found out we have a child coming so we are now looking to switch over to a camper.
