Lake Norman was man made from 1959. I seriously doubt there's a lake monster, if anything it's a gator that wandered in there years ago.

It may be man-made, but you don't know what the hell some people dump or put in the lake. Probably some fool released an invasive species or a potentially new species into the lake. Maybe not a plesiosaur since I highly doubt it, but a new species of salamander or lungfish would be a good candidate. Reply made: 7:57 PM Tuesday, January 17 2022

Being that this was only created in the sixties this is probably that thing they pulled out of two lakes here on the west coast in Statford lake Novato Ca. They said they would see things as well, they drained the lake for another reason & when they did they found an 8.5 foot Sturgeon ,then shortly after that the pulled one that was in a lake in Washington state that One was 12 feet long same kind of story's there as well.

I grew up in Greenville Tennessee, my dad operated a crain for TVA! He built nuclear sites for Tennessee and North Carolina! He made friends with the divers that had to go down and clear the grates that feed water into these nuclear plants! They told my dad that they saw catfish big enough to swallow a whole man!

Yep its true I used to work as a pipefitter for local union in Nashville and we did repairs on a few and the divers got paid BIG bucks to go down there and there's a HANDFUL of them that have said this I know two who said that at Percy priest lake they had seen catfish the size of a Volkswagen bug... And I heard that directly from the pipefitter/welding /diver who seen it... And said they had to go down in a buddy system because he wouldnt go back down because it crept up on him and it was so bad his flashlight hit a whisker and it was as big as his arm around he said ,and refused to dive there unless they sent someone to watch his back while he checked and repaired...
