Song Qian is so selfish. She blamed Ying Zi for not telling her about what Ying Zi truly wants, but she is the one who ignores everything Ying Zi says. She also blamed Ying Zi and Fan Fan for ruining her friendship with Wei Jie, but she was the one who offended Wei Jie for talking bad about her family. She said she was willing to cut ties with everyone for Ying Zi but when she saw Wei Jie with Xiao Meng, she got jealous and said that Wei Jie ignored her on purpose. She just wants everyone to herself but plays the victim when they do things without telling her 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Song Qian thinks that kids are supposed to be hard working machines. She cares more about academics than anything else. This is okay, but she goes to another extreme by pushing Yingzi to choose a path that she does not want to follow. Of course you have to acknowledge that is a parents responsibility to guide the child, but when it comes to a life choice that is reasonable and kid's dream you can't be so decisive. That's Song Qian's flaws.

song qian pisses me off. always victimizing herself. she controls ying zi so much. i get that as a parent she wants what's best for her child but i really think she doesn't even know what is best. it's important to focus a lot on studies especially in grade 12 but if you over do it it's rlly harmful. it might help you in the future but the stress and stuff is not worth it. parents must take responsibility to help their children choose the right path but at the end of the day, they are 18. they aren't little kids. they have the right to decide their own life. Ying zi clearly wants to follow her dreams. the mom is stopping that for selfish reasons. i think it's rlly amazing that she raised a kid all by herself and is dedicating her life to ying zi but she needs to tone down a bit and chill. she's a brave person for doing this all on her own but her teaching methods are wrong and very harmful. she's always acting like everyone is the villain and is harming her. she said she gives ying zi her all but she is tryna leave her and finds comfort in other people like her friends. no shit. what else does she want her to do when she acts like that. and how she blamed her argument with wen jie on ying zi and yi fan.. it rlly pissed me off. she stretched the kids friendship so much and started making stuff up in her head even after she found out they r just friends. idk how she expects to separate friends since childhood just like that it's crazy. if anyone tried to do that with me and my friend i would flip out. she insulted fang yuan and yi fan right infront of wen jie. the reason the argument started was cuz song qian was being a bitch.
