For little screen time, John de Lancie did a good job on Granamyr.

I agree. To me his voice sounds like a mixture of gandalf and gimli from Lord of the rings.

I feel weird about how gramanyr die i was think they would have had him a better fight and i was thinking of more dragons also freezing the hrond fleet with some of his dragon magic would show how powerful the great ancient red dragons is

Well, he was already dying in the beginning of the series, so he was on his way out. This was his last hurrah.... if you will.

@@danshotguns4226 Yes he probably wanted to go out in battle as now his death would be seen as something heroic. He wanted to go out in a blaze of glory (as I would think most dragons would).

@@Wolfman3077 none of this makes any sense for Granamyr's lore. If they were going to just reboot the series with new lore they should have just done it. To call this a sequel to the OG is a farce. Granamyr is the second oldest living thing in the multiverse. He does not die of old age...or anything for that matter. His magic can bind He-Man.

This inspired me for one glorious scene in my book for DC Comics to which I add kamandi found Superman in The Fortress of Solitude. The world that was once doomed by nuclear war needs him again however Superman feels like he has failed so he tells the kid to go away if man destroyed itself then it will destroy you. He tells him the hero you know doesn't exist anymore he's dead. The kid walks away and the one thing he says before he leaves would bring a lot of people to tears he says to Superman one thing my grandfather believed in you he always knew you'd never run away from us. He takes out a ring that belongs to Lois Lane who is alive any places it on Superman's desk and says even she still believes in you all I ever wanted was to be like you because you had one thing that we all could want so desperately in our lives: Hope. I guess I was wrong farewell Mr Kent. Superman picks up the ring and remembers it because he gave it to Lois Lane the day he proposed to her. He picks up a crystal that he hasn't picked up in years and it was the message from his father all in regards to Mankind's capacity for good and he sent them his only son. Somewhere before the end of the first book Superman makes a triumphant return and the kid tells him thank you for saving my life and in return he thinks him for saving him. He basically brings back the human spirit that Superman turned away from in other words kamandi restored his hope

They just fuck up absolutely all of the lore in these new kevin smith he-mans. it's sick. Granamyr is a bonified god in the original series.

Serpos was a straight up god in "He man vs the snake men" and he got fucking rekt. Gods can be defeated in the Motu universe but of course you didn't know that because you are a tourist.
