For Ominagruzio's lore which just got translated a few days ago, it was the starter cat that wandered Dark States together with it's friends the birds but they got caught in between a turf war of some Abyss Dragons which resulted in its friends death and it being fatally injured. But Dragontree healed it's wounds and gave it power turning it into a dragon (the very thing it despise) so that it can get it's revenge and now it serves as a direct agent of Dragontree. Also, it's not too far fetch for something to turn into a dragon in Vanguard lore. Mordred turned into Dragruler (then again he was the reincarnation of Phantom Blaster Dragon or something) and Percival turned into Prominence Flare then Glare after receiving power from Thing Saver.

What really intrigued me is that in the lore. It has a grudge against a certain abyss dragon in dark states. But who? Because there are 3 to come to mind. Greedon. Drajeweled. And Favrneel. Who is Ominagruzio’s No.1 target of anger?

at 39:00 the gravidia player could have rode the OG gravidia for its on ride effect then used the mask in drop to persona ride into mask, the meteors draw you 2 cards and you have more cards allowing you to probably 5 attack with full vanguard effect to finish the game!

There is 2 problems here First is that this version of the deck does not run normal gravidia in deck at all so that play is literally impossible in the video And second, its not a bad play , but you need to run multiple copies of og and masque in order to do that, and in a deck that’s running anywhere between 9-11 meteors, as well as the masque and dragontree wretch, space is an issue

​@@TopDeckHeroesI think the way to go with Gravidia Masques is for it to be a finisher as the minus 2 from hand just for multi-attack is not sustainable. But the again, I don't play Gravidia so I wouldn't really know.

Gravidia didn't need a multi attack by pulling units from hand as the deck by retiring current units as it's already board presence weak. Although the meteor recycle is better, this deck should've just gave Gravidia a restand minus drive check(s). In conclusion, Gravidia will remain a B-C tier deck

Have you tested Ominagruzio with multiple attack combo with Jewel Core and Bubetsu. If so, how is it?

Piece reliant, if it pops off you have a fun turn, but it takes too many pieces and if you miss one thing you don’t get anything We might try to optimize that version for the next time

IDK what list you guys used for Ominagruzio But I got so sick of not seeing my pieces I ran max copies of Ominagruzio, Ominagruzio Masques and MOH to make sure the engine is as consistent as possible Also ran 3 copies of Leimina and Gungnram to make sure that my chances of either SCing or drawing MOH are maximised specifically to not be confronted with the problems in this game. Shields be damned

The Unica G1 was a fun idea for the deck but ultimately doesn’t quite pan out, so probably taking the 2 copies of it in deck out and adding one of each of the MOH and Dragon wretch

Imo, Gravidia mask is more like an afterthought... the call over for 5 atks is kinda sucks, they should just restand the rear instead calling over unit and minus you

Why not use the grade 3 that gets power if your opponent reveals a trigger it buffs itself? i like the idea of you buffing because of your opponents triggers and they don't 😅 (am i evil?)

Exactly. The entire ride line thins the deck and plays into the Masque so well that the only natural progression is to assume that Gravidia has problems.

Honestly don't think there is a way around it besides hit it hard as quickly as possible as longer games benefit them or make them consume resources through retiring/guard restrictions so they don't have a field to properly attack and use masque's restand. Also run more variety of triggers to have more chance of pulling a defensive that they haven't bound yet though alternatively I think playing rorowa is a good match honestly as he can use tokens to guard which wouldn't be affected by the guard reduction of triggers and as they don't have many if any way of retiring rearguards they can't remove the tokens easily.

@@GR8NE55 It's different to say that Gravidia Masque is bad support than it is to say that Gravidia still has her same flaws though. I understand that the deck is still reliant on a lot of orders and trigger sacks and suffers from limited rear guard space, but while I haven't tested it myself, it doesn't seem like going straight into Masque is the play for this deck. Or at least being open to alternating could work better. At the very least, shooting for the double trigger on turn 3 and then going into Masque on turn 4, even after an OG persona to thin the deck of a couple more orders might be better than just wanting to go second and gassing into Masques. FeelsBadMan attitudes when there's layers and play patterns to these games doesn't feel like the whole story. All I've heard is "there's too many pieces" or "Masques is a neg on card advantage", but there's no one saying "I've tried playing the deck multiple different ways and it's a struggle to make it feel effective." Maybe I just think that even if it isn't Gandeeva or Jet, the deck should at least play like it's got an idea of what it's trying to do and not just be treated like it's got some kind of birth defect. Maybe I'm treating "this ain't it" as "Abandon all hope ye who enter here". No one should feel compelled to chase a meta deck if they don't want to but in a game built on triggers as long as they deck can perform a line of play, it's got a chance at least at locals. Have we really reached a point where it's either you win big and sweep with a one sided deck with a deck like Ominagruzio or you shouldn't even bother playing at all?

I am a gravidia main and It's fill so bad to see gravidia like that. I was so hyped about masques. But the masques is bad , do minus like crazy. I guess bushi only want his loli Eva on top of Brandt gate and no other decks get close.

it works admittedly, since hellhazards effect doesnt put it to bind instead of drop, but instead when you put it to drop you bind it then retire, you finiah grav masque effect calling bacu, and choose to use bacu effect first before resolving hellhazard
