Another Welstra tip: From what I’ve seen from the recent Welstra tops, some people are running the grade 2 Freischutz at one copy as a way to get another Maximum without using CB. With this, if you have 2 CB and 2 soul, you could try to push for game with five attacks.

When you use Freiheitz to declare the operation, both the CC and the Order's Operate at the same time, you do however have to resolve all of the order at once. It would have to be use the CC, then Retire and Reduce Power, and then call by bouncing a RG, at least in the situation where you had no open CB

As many people already stated, Dragontree Wretches dont attack for 15k on Grade 2, since Dragontree Marker only gives power when the Vanguard is "Masques" or the Grade 10. MOSTLY no impact in this video (ones in Game 1) but maybe an important reminder for other Masques matches. Because, you know, reading is hard :)

17:21 you can resolve sordio first to CC, then resolve the operate ability of maximum. Watch out on declaring "neg 5" tho as it would mean the timing for maximum came first. Technically, maximum is operated so you can CC, the prio on resolving was just held. Correct me if I'm wrong, I've been playing like how I said it since I started Welstra.

After you used Iskra to operate, you could’ve had Sordio CC you first then swing with Sordio to put Decarcop into soul

@6:05 you swing with plus 5 from dragon tree marker but I believe you don't get the power until you have vanguard with mask in the name so I think that was a misplay.

So, unlike yugioh where you can chain effect during effect In VG you cant, You need to resolve all the card first before you can activate the other one Meaning, You need to resolve Maximum until the end of its effect. Then you can activate the CC

That's only if you declare the -5k and retire before using the CC. You have the option to choose which ability to activate first, so what could've happened was he could've used the CC first, then use Maximum after since they both activated at the same time.

Nope, both of them happen at the same time so you get to chose which to resolve first, confirmed by judge

As a Gravidia World player, when i go second and ride, i get to pick if i search for order or draw first cause the effects are "when rode" and "when ridden" if they trigger at the same time, they can be resolved in any order. It's the same situation here. Any time multiple effects trigger, player decides resolution timing

You can use it because the effect to call it is a separate cost so you can pay cost in any order

Not quite, it does work but not for that reason, onec you start an abilities you need to resolve it all the way, you cant do a part of the ability before the cost, do other card effects, and then continue by paying the cost

Definitely will say in game 2, the turn you rode up if you had done tearful with bist and one of your triggers, could’ve gone with the masque/tearful alchemagic and been fine because then you just use cloak to sb masque out and the ride up. Now you have power, pressure and persona while getting an extra card in hand and still being able to push a bit. Nice fight though overall.

For reference, 25:28 is about the time and I’d also mention if you wanted the Dragontree marker, should’ve just called bist (no skill) zorga revive something, hydragrum/tearful, cloak done. Go into masques and use masques to bring back bist. Done.

The only way to use the effect of Zorga Masques where you remove another Zorga, is to remove ONLY Zorgas with a different name, you cannot use the ability by removing a copy of Zorga Masques, it has to be either OG Zorga or =Zorga Make sense

blue zorga is the superior choice. with red you have to pay a cost to alchemagic with the Masque when you ride to purple zorga. blue it's free

With red you can set up for orders later in the game with blue you can alchemagic for free which leads to easy masque its your choice but since it's free alchemagic most people go blue

Red Zorga allows good going 1st because you can save an order for Masques turn after. Also you may not have enough CB to use Blue Zorga's skill in addition to Depth Iweleth and Keel Severing in a turn anyway.

Alchamagic works by combining 2 orders in to one, so you put the costs and abilities together of the order bound on to the order played, so that one order has on it both costs and abilities, and since that order has now added to it the ability of tearfull malice, it will go in to the soul, thats how alchamagic works
