From first impressions it looks like a great multitool with every tool you would realistically need. Also the price is right with a nice case to keep the elements out. 😎👍
@jeremydaily8 жыл бұрын
Just bought the very same Crank Brothers you have and it came with a case aka "tool flask". So they do come with one now. Probably because of many complaints.

Nice! I'm actually in the market for a multi-tool. My riding buddy has snapped his chain twice in the last few months and he's had to walk out. Bummer for both of us. Whilst the guy is in great shape, his shifting can be pretty awful. I hear him back there crunching and popping, shifting under load. He did much better on our ride yesterday though. Thanks for the great first look review! I think I'll get this multi-tool.

Omg I'm new to the channel but I just noticed that you only had 664 subs!! I thought you were at least past a million, your videos are great and I am looking forward to watch more of them! Keep up the good work!

Actually the crankbrothers multi-tool you have has a spoke tightener as well it's on the flap part you us to to rotate for the chain breaker.
@malayneum8 жыл бұрын
just curious. whats the use of the chain breaker if you already have that piece of metal at 2:15 ? i think im just gonna make that metal piece myself and get a more basic multi tool instead to save some weight.
@bkxc8 жыл бұрын
You need that little piece as a little helper when you are putting your chain back together or taking it apart.

BKXC got it in gold from a website called wiggle.com, it was really cheap and they have so many other products for really good prices. I also got an osprey raptor 14 for $110 (AUD) on sale. You should check it out!

Nice video! Just got this one for myself. However, I am just not able to pull of the 10mm allen head from the 8mm key. The head is just sits super tight and is not moving at all (applied force only with my hands so far). Did you experience difficulties to pull it of?
@bkxc7 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, mine came off pretty easily. Maybe contact support and see what they say?
@balintgg7 жыл бұрын
I used lubricant oil (good WD40), now it is just fine.
@simpin4236 жыл бұрын
That’s surprising because I’m 12 and I can pull it of real easy yours might have been defective you could of taken it back for a new one

There's a spoke wrench on the c.bros chain tool
@Jute5113 жыл бұрын
There are spoke wrenches on the Topeak, but he called them 'chain tools' (14G, 15G, Mavic etc) he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Uhmm im about to buy a multitool and i dont know if i should take the mini 20 pro or the hexus 2(theres also an X version which is newer)
@blizzbee3 жыл бұрын
mini20pro vs hexusX are very different multitool... by feeling at least. Shouldn't be hard to decide which one to go. If u couldn't really decide, try grab both in your hands and see which u like more. I do weekend road ride and got a mini9 which is more than enough forb my need,,, good tools.
@chino8524563 жыл бұрын
@@blizzbee thanks for replying. In the end I bought the mini 20 pro. I have use it I'm very rare occasions though lol, but it has pretty good tools that may come in handy someday...

I Managed to break mine :( the 6 hexa key, and did not even used a lot of force. Will ask for a warranty replacement I guess there was some metal forging issue.

Nice tool, I have a topeak alien III (or II, can't remember exactly) and it's being great for about 4 years, just too heavy, specially lately as I've been riding with just a bottle and cellphone and can't fit it in my pocket, I'll probably check the one you just reviewed. Btw, great channel, just subscribed yesterday and already watched a lot of your videos!
