Hey, Mark. Yeah, I bought this exact same Topeak TrunkBag and I love it. I also ordered a Topeak Explorer rack (the most minimalist of this kind of rack by Topeak) which works perfectly with the unit. And, I agree with you - I think the rainproof cover should come standard with all of these TrunkBags! I ended up buying one online for $24.95 plus something like $7 for shipping (no tax for my state via Todson Bicycle Distributor in MA). But, the main compartment of these TrunkBags is great for storing your food and additional drink as well as bike tools, innertube/patches, wallet, keys, cellphone, etc. Thanks for the video - good review!

what is the rubberban on the botton of the track used for?

Those are two rubber bungees to secure more cargo on top of the bag or put a cover over the bag so it wont get wet. Thank you for watching.

the only drawback about the topeak mxt is its so easy to steal it from your bike,it would have made sense to put a lock on the front clip on.

The bag is very good but zippers on it are poor quality. After only two years of using the zipper broke and the bag is useless now.
