The great Lego City Riots of 2008. In response to Lego Cities governments’ eviction and foreclosure of multiple low class neighborhoods to build a new golf course, protests took place in the city center. Protesters were met with heavily armed riot control police units, seeing this, many Lego City civilians took the gesture as one of a government, cracking down and stripping its citizens of their rights. After shots were heard from within the crowed of protesters, hitting the mayor of Lego City, who, against his advisers wishes, went to go and talk to the leading officer. That was when the police opened fire with tear gas grenades, automatic weapons fire from third story windows, and some of the rioters responded in kind. Which caused the Lego City police to rush in and quell the now riot. The LCPD arrested many innocent Lego City citizens and sent even more to the hospital. Causing even more distrust in the Lego city government. Riots and protests occurred all throughout the next two years. During this time many operations occurred where Lego city S.W.A.T. Teams either arrested, or killed those who orchestrated the riots, and fanned the flames of violence during the protests. Once the Lego City governmental, and council members retracted its decision to remove and destroy many lower class neighborhoods for its golf course idea, instead focused many of their own resources into helping those in said lower income neighborhoods to get out of poverty, and find jobs. Still the orchestrators of the attacks during the Lego City Riots, are still at large. This has been Lego City News! Signing off for the night!
