Extreme measures with Trevor Eve, Friday at 9 on BBC One
@FirstnameLastname-kn5sw5 жыл бұрын
Good effort, Steve, but it is not quite there. You have to capitalize the title correctly, that is a must. Remember, it is not "Extreme measures", rather it is "Extreme Measures". Now, read how I have written it out correctly and you can attempt it once more. Extreme Measures with Trevor Eve, Friday at 9 on BBC One. Notice how I chose to capitalize "Measures" yet still refrained from doing it to "with", as is right. Do not get nervous and overcorrect yourself. You may now go ahead and try it again, just like we practiced. When you have cracked this stage you can go ahead and move onto the next level, in which you consider whether the show is titled: Extreme Measures with Trevor Eve. Or if it is actually called "Extreme Measures" but was then simply promoted as featuring Trevor Eve whether continually as part of the conception of the show or if only limited to a part of the series, perhaps just that once for a particular episode. In which case "with", now not part of the title, still remains un-capitalized, though for a different reason. But beyond that sort of change on the theoretical level which do not inform any changes in the practical, there are now also a few practical changes which require adjustments that you must supply. The title must now instead be presented as: 'Extreme Measures', with Trevor Eve, Friday at 9 on BBC One. Now the comma I've added for the benefit of the reader, if you like you may write it simply as: 'Extreme Measures' with Trevor Eve, Friday at 9 on BBC One. Now, THaT, is how IT'S done. hOoOrAH. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. Best Regards. Rob.

Because it was loosely scripted with a lot of improvised dialogues, so you're always going to end up with a lot of stuff that has to be trimmed out for time, pacing and structure.

4:21 I absolutely love the way he says “Extreme Measures” three times in a row, each time with a slightly different nuance on the word “Extreme”. The first time feels like your bog-standard voiceover… the second conveys a sense of intrigue… and the third gives the impression of a darker, more aggressive programme.

Hilarious. Sometimes it’s not a formal production that does it for actors; sometimes the whole point of being an actor is just to hang out with other actors. How I miss THAT and I was never even close to being famous at all, but I do miss the laughter that can be found in the company of actors.

I would be tempted to stay 'starring Trevor Eve' as it is a drama he is acting in, not a documentary that he is presenting. However if the program was already established, for example this announcing the start of a long awaited new series, you could certainly get away with saying 'with' Particularly if Trevor had received plaudits for his performance in the role, which I fully imagine he would have done.
