In this video, I will show you how to convert your Quicken data file from Quicken for Windows into Quicken for Mac using the newest 2018 version for the demonstration. I will also talk about the biggest things to be aware of when switching to Quicken for Mac and highlight some of the differences between the versions.

Thanks, curious why the budget you mentioned did not transfer as I would have thought Quicken would under the covers merely view budgets much like an account only with some specific register, transaction mapping to other accounts, and reporting options. Still for now going to stick with my plan to run the newer subscription version in my Windows VM to maintain the more extensive reporting options when I upgrade. I run Premier 2016 so have a little time yet on the download expiration.
