I'm one of those people that mosquitoes seem to love. I dislike them immensely. With that said, wouldn't eradicating them be ecologically disastrous? I believe mosquitoes are a major food source for many creatures. What would happen if that food source was suddenly gone? I'm afraid mosquitoes are a "necessary evil". Please be well everyone.🖖

No eradicate them all. Bats and other creatures that eat puny mosquitos could easily adapt. Mosquitos are the number 1 killers of humans in the insect world. Earth can easily go on without these infectious pests.

I'm surprised spiders weren't on the list especially the Sydney Funnel Web spider, the most deadliest spider in the world. I live in Australia and watching these types of shows always reminds me (not that I really need it) of the sheer amount of deadly creatures that can be found here, both on land and in the water. I gotta say though I often find myself simultaneously shaking my head, rocking myself and mumbling "oh my god, I can't watch this" when ever sharks and crocodiles come up, there are an untold amount of horrible ways to die but for some reason the thought of being eaten alive by a shark or a crocodile truly truly makes me scared and sends a shudder threw my whole body. It racks me with instant fear and a longing to never needing to step outside of my home EVER. I think crocs scare me more than sharks, although bull sharks really do scare me, they are known to be very very aggressive and here in Australia they aren't just found in the ocean they are very much living in the canals and waterways around many water front estates especially in Queensland. As for crocs well in the top half of Australia so the top of Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia crocs can pretty much be found wherever there is water, we have both freshwater and salt water crocs here, but something that is BLOODY SCARY that I've only learnt in the past few years is up the top of the places I mentioned salt water crocs (the bigger out of the 2 types) can and have been found at the beach, like in the ocean, so in many places up there where the temperature is year round warm, humid and tropical it's not even possible to just nick down to the local beach for a quick dip or a surf because they are there too, I always thought they were just in lakes and rivers and swamp type waterways and canals not the actual ocean. So personally it's swimming in the local swimming pools or not at all.

10:05 They had to put down that king Cobra because, when London was bombed heavily, they didn't want that twenty foot long "fire hose full of poison" to become loose and harm any citizens. It's really weird to have so much opinionated and inaccurate snark coming from the narrator on some really simple science/nature videos.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, did you just say that Nile crocodiles are found in Asia? Dude, Nile crocodiles are only in Africa. Asia has its own species of crocs such as the saltwwater and mugger crocodiles. Speaking of saltwater crocodiles, in World War II, during the Battle of Ramree Island, the British had beaten back the Japanese who were forced to retreat into the swamps, which were infested with salties. Hundreds of Japanese soldiers got eaten by the crocodiles, with some estimates placing the death toll at over a thousand.

This list is all over the place, so not sure what the criteria for selection was. You have actual predators on one hand, and then large, aggressive herbivores... and then venomous animals... and disease carriers, and.... I mean, come on. Narrow it down. And proof that the list makes little sense---DOGS? Seriously? Yeah, okay, lots of people get bitten by dogs... because... dogs are literally our favorite animal and millions of them live with us. Of course statistically there's going to be lots of dog bites. It doesn't mean dogs are actually "dangerous" in anything like the way the other animals on this list are. Including dogs on this list---while leaving off animals like tigers (who, if I'm not mistaken, have historically killed more people than lions), bull sharks, tiger sharks, mako sharks (each more responsible for human deaths, I think, than Great Whites), sea snakes, scorpions---I mean... it's just silly. Usually good stuff from this channel... but this list is a miss.

Dogs are actually one of the most dangerous animals on the planet. Dogs kill about 16 people a year in the US. Yes a well trained dog is not dangerous but that isn’t always the case.

California brown bear. Kodiak bear. Do more research.

You are I guess technically sorta correct….Mr. Righty McRight pants, however in regards to decent top quality & usually pretty well researched videos covering hundreds of varied topics w/o the ridiculous never ending bs click bait or just plain wrong, hoaxed & all the other endless nonsense on this platform, Top Fives wouldn’t be on most peoples quick list of uneducated. Although I’m not a bear 🐻 researcher let alone try to act as a know it all of bears, I’m pretty sure the ‘’California brown bear & Kodiak bears’’ are listed under the term ‘’grizzly bear’’ & in fact refers to not one, but rather several species of brown bears which are native to North America, including the Kodiak and California Grizzly. So in conclusion, him saying, black, polar & grizzly is definitely a well enough umbrella covering of the topic. After all it’s not like he said something insane like a koala bear riiight? Which would not make sense. But maybe you believe Koalas are a bear species . 🤪
