Romberg’s test is not for Cerebellum but for propioception
@durn844 ай бұрын
Cerebellar function and proprioception are connected. There is a functional area in the cerebellum called the vestibulocerebellum which integrates information from your vestibular (balance) system and proprioceptive fibres from your muscles and tendons. The vestibulocerebellum then modulates posture and equilibrium through descending motor pathways. So you can see that the outcome of Romberg's test could be indicative of cerebellar function/dysfunction

How to make differents between Vestibular dysfunction and cerebellar dysfunction using Romber test?
@astroboy46103 жыл бұрын
Romberg Test has nothing to do with assessing cerebellar function, because a patient with a cerebellar dysfunction would already be swaying before closing eyes, and joining feet together would be impossible. In case of a vestibular dysfunction, the patient tend to fall towards the lesion side, and closing the eyes would make the swaying worse, it's the Pseudo-Romberg. And the Romberg sign is found in case of a proprioceptive dysfunction.

Vestibular problem does cause vertigo. Maybe seeing a neurologist could help
@nidalaiya21114 жыл бұрын
Yes it causes vertigo as it helps in balance. I think u must be having sinus problem. You can clean up sinus by salt water neti pot and vaporizer. It can also due to some other reason.

W Pg There are ethical reasons not to use patients for public educational videos, even if the patient gives permission. Our ethics committee ruled against the use of anything other than anonymised still shots

An odd response. Maybe not odd for someone without a photo, a name or gender. This extreme anonymity is a sure sign of a repressed nature and emotional problem. In this forum a person's sexuality is irrelevant. This is not a dating site.

Their name or sex is just as irrelevant. In fact, he's just noting how irrelevant your comment is by pointing at the very reason why anyone would comment on someone else's looks in a video like this. Next time add a "no homo" disclaimer: you'll just get comments for lying. As to anonimity, for all we now about you, globalman, you might very well be a 16 year old girl writing from India. Don't pretend you can actually diagnose someone's personality disorders on the basis of their ability or willingness to update their youtube profile. It's arrogant and stupid.
