I actually don’t blame Tophia for being rude to her “parents”. They’re extremely mentally deficient. I don’t like Tophia obviously, but it seems like she had to grow up pretty fast in order to take care of herself and survive. Seems like her parents rely on her to be the only person with a damn bit of common sense. Which really isn’t saying much.

Let’s be real, tophia doesn’t have an OUNCE of common sense otherwise she probably wouldn’t be in the current predicament she keeps digging herself in. But on that note, Marie’s parenting most definitely plays a part in why tophia’s the way she is.. it’s hard to sympathize when she’s the one who enabled this attitude and continues to give her validation for her poor decisions as a fully grown 30 year old woman..

God didn’t say whether they were good/sufficient parents. He said honor them, period. This is why children are perishing left and right, they are hardheaded and don’t heed their parents.
