I used to do the smaller checkerboard pattern, as well as the shark tooth pattern on my old horse during show season. He had nice rear end confo, and these would show it off really nice.

Can you use the parallel bars for a hack or are they only for hunters
@sonyanorthlee41926 жыл бұрын
Will the marks still show on a clipped horse and do you prefer having a clipped horse with these patterns?
@kynancapybarafan99646 жыл бұрын
Sonya Northlee depends which clip but it’ll look stupid with certain clips

Hi this is such a helpful video, but I was wondering if I would be allowed to do quarter marks on a Tennessee Walker for western pleasure?

Why does it matter what the horses butt looks like when you ride it? I understand doing this if you just lead the horse around the ring to show it off, but why do looks matter when the horse is actually doing something?
@judgementedge86266 жыл бұрын
nessagirl1911 exactly this is just really stupid

She mentions in the beginning it's to accentuate the hind quarters for the show ring.

Saartje05 I got requests to pattern horses multiple times on a show weekend. Almost as many as I trimmed up, and probably patterned more horses than I braided.
