I love Botticelli's work, too. I hope too, you can visit Italy. I have visited, and there is a lot to see and experience. The humor was great and spot on! My husband is Italian and he would agree🙂

My favourite painting is in the same gallery as The Birth of Venus, though it's slightly grimmer - it is Caravaggio's Medusa! Rome and Florence are incredible cities. When we stayed in Florence it was in the same building as the Medici Archive Project - just wonderful. Every side-street there holds the promise of history and adventure. City of my dreams is Paris.

A town overrun with flowers and w'out autos that looks like Greece or Riomaggiore in Italy. I'd love to contribute to an Italy trip for you.
