Some very interesting shoes! I've been enjoying the FlyLite4 for quicker runs in the hour range. It reminds me a lot of the NB Minimus Road from 2012. Tried a few other models and they felt a bit dead to me (clunky, firm, etc) but these new offerings seem very appealing! Glad there are companies like Altra and Topo making foot shaped shoes.

Still topo is narrower and also shorter in same sizes vs altra, imho

Cyclone2 is looking nice. Pebax, improved upper, lightweight, and getting that heel to be less sloppy. Going to be a nice addition to the Topo lineup!

I’m really looking forward to the Phantom 3, I’ve loved the 2. Only wish is for more substantial/durable eyelets. 🤞🏼As always, great job BITR.

Altra is also ridiculously overpriced. I just wish Topo could offer some discounts and make a carbon plated marathon racing shoe since that seems to be what most performance minded marathon runners want these days.

I’ve tried and tried to love Altra. Love them in theory but not in practice. Shoes fit sloppy, durability is poor, cost is high…doesn’t make sense. Just started wearing the Topo Pursuit and they’ve been fantastic.

@@alec_schumacher Well, it depends where. I've recently bought brand new Vias for something like USD 75. Topos are much more expensive in Europe (no retailer in my country sells them).

I would have Topo as my line up (easy, interval/tempo, and race day shoes) if they could provide a similar discount for medical providers that saucony, adidas, and asics provides.
