Hi! I appreciate your Unison videos. What arrow specifications do you recommend for the 70" 40lb?

Hi Steven. I just about to get my first bow. So between SF forge and Topint Unison, which one is better?

Have you been learning with a "club bow" or going straight in? Will you "train" for a bit, building strength and consistency, before getting all the trinkets? Will you feel like a wimp if you turn up with a "Samick Sage"? Both risers are excellent - maybe better than you! The Forged has a proven record, Unison is new. Forged is probably stronger, but Unison is heat treated aluminium: will you be using 40lb+ limbs on a first bow? As Steve says, it often depends on what appeals to you. The Forged is well known, but the Unison looks a bit like the W&W AL1/ALX which are high priced used by pros.

Thanks for your advice, Joe. I'm shooting the 34lb bow now. Maybe around 35-36lb on the finger. I don't feel tired at all after 90 arrows. The score is about 750-780 at 30 meters. So, I think I am ready for my first bow.

Hi Steven as a novice would I be better off with a Decut Basha pro riser or do you think the Topoint Unison would be a cheaper and more appropriate option?
@joesharkey10216 жыл бұрын
In the UK they are the same price!! £160 vs £162 at one shop. It's a "pro" because it's supposed to have floating limb bolts.

When your little mate Marla does her yapping, that sound distresses me with no end of anxiety overload. Please consider how much your audience look forward to watching these informative videos with your top-notch professional and light-hearted commentary of yours. Marla's barking somewhat ruins this.
