This implies p can't be a lower bound as 1/N would still be lesser than it thus giving rise to a contradiction!

अभी मैं confused हूँ। plzz clear आपने sir बताया open interval वाली example में that infimum और supremum जरूरी नहीं है कि set के अंदर ही ho, kyuki open में extreme wle points included नहीं होते, similarly यहां पर भी फिर zero set में नहीं है, तो kyu नहीं zero को हम infimum maan sakte, ? Plzz clear ,,, यह discrete set है इसलिए या कुछ और reason ??

Infimum and suprimun are not necessary they should belong from natural numbers . In fact suprimun and Infimum may or may not belong from the whole sequence. Natural numbers is just domain where you have to put values that's only natural number. I hope concept clear hua hoga
