Well Congrats on the 100k! I've been watching the channel a while, I like your attitude towards tough problems, even as an old machinist myself, I pick up tips still from fellas like you on the YT machine community- And I should win because I've never ever won anything ever in my whole life, even tho I keep hoping and entering things- "Never give up! Never Surrender!" (Tim Allen) Hope your channel continues to grow, youre a great guy even if your friends are camera shy, they seem ok too?

I'm a semi-retired person, and machining has captured my imagination - nothing could be further from my life-long career. I like watching Josh because he makes it seem fun and interesting without over-simplifying. I'd like to develop my skills but I can't afford to spend a bunch of money on machines, so I'm trying to acquire tools gradually without my wife throwing me and the gear out. Thanks for the great videos!

Missed it by that much ' ' ! 😁Thanks Randy and Candy for making Topper create this awesome channel! I love watching machinists videos, especially Topper's, where he fixes things for people, saving lots of $$, or even saving a whole machine due to part unavailability. Love the channel, will be watching more often. I've probably seen only 3-4 videos so far, but loved them all.

Mr. Josh, thanks for taking the time to produce your videos. After being medically retired from the Army National Guard, i found myself getting depressed with too much time between chemotherapy treatments and having little energy to do the things i used to do. Now I'm in my fifties and just starting to learn machining. I saved up and bought a round column mill and will be adding a small lathe hopefully soon. Your videos have helped me learn many processes in metal fabrication. I would like to take some classes, but the nearest school is an hour and 45 minutes away, so I've come to rely on your videos to show me the way forward. Congratulations on reaching your milestone of 100k subscribers! Thanks for all you do for the community.

I got myself some small machines to start learning because I was tired of having to search and buy things when I needed them or broke them. Especially hand tools and replacement parts on small engine stuff. I've learned more from just watching you do things than any of the other machining channels, and that's primarily because you use a lot of wide angle shots so we can see all of what's going on and not just closeups on the cuts. So thank you for the time you put into these videos; they're not only entertaining but they are informative.

I dont need to win. Im a disabled old guy that just loves seeing how machine work is done. Congratulations on the subs, now for the next 100k.
I’m a young US citizen (retired) like Randy snd yourself (not retired). I am living vicariously the dream of machine shop work through you. I watch all your videos, unfortunately my beloved wife cant stand such shows and flees the room. I applaud you for keeping your young interns, apprentices, future tradesmen in your shop. they are iur future and lifeblood and you recognize that. if you skilled tradesmen die with all your secrets dont get passed on, there is no knowlege for the future. you and your channel and others like them are so so important. unfortunately my son is not interested in the trades (he is into health care) but i know he learns by obnosis (sp?) by watching in same room with me. It is so important the good work you do as well as Kurtis, Adam, Kieth, the other Keith, Matty, Jacob, Greg, mr Pete Tublican, Wess, and all the rest, you guys are the best. Congratulations for the KZbin Placard, “It’s so Shiny”! (better spray it down with Fluid Film to keep it tarnish free. I’s love to win your giveaway, but I am already rewarded by what you have already given us over the years. Thanks Richard
