Whatever the books have it is usually linked to the syllabus in one or the other form. So u can't say actually that books have more than what is written in syllabus.. Usually syllabus is wider than the books itself

The exam date is not yet out.. You, as a beginner will need 1-2 years at least to clear all the stages of the exam.. So if u start today, depending on your commitment u might be able to clear the exam in ur first or second attempt of ppsc..
